Homemade caramels wrapped in wax paper. My grandma always made them and even after she died I kept one in the freezer for years because I couldn’t bring myself to eat it. Last year I finally want brave enough and made them myself for the first time (she has been gone almost 9 years) and I have never cried eating candy before that day. Some of my favorite memories are my brother and I decorating literally hundreds of sugar cookies because she made up Christmas treat trays for everyone and their brother it seemed like. Your cookies look delicious, we have some holiday mnm’s so I think my little one and I will give them a try tomorrow.
Trinity Butterhorns are my family's favorite. I have turned over all of my recipe boxes to my 23 yr old granddaughter. I will be surprised at what she is baking.
I love that you’re setting a goal to decrease the desserts to one a week. I grew up in a household where we didn’t get sweets unless it was a holiday, birthday, or special occasion. I didn’t realize until I was an adult that other households had dessert or something sweet after every meal. I still to this day only want a bite or two of something sweet and then I’m satisfied.
Date squares & snowballs are my fav sweet treats. Your casserole looks delicious....gives me a lasagna vibe. Wishing you, Glen & the furbabies, as well as all of your subscribers a very Merry Christmas!!
For years my traditional Christmas cookies were Nestle Tollhouse Chocolate Chip Cookies and Rice Krispie Treats, the older, slightly less healthy version of Krispie Treats. For the last few years if I make cookies at all, I use Betty Crocker Cookies mixes, Great Value mixes, and occasionally refrigerated cookie dough. All are surprisingly good.
Hi Corrina I just made 2 loaves of banana bread and next I’m Making shortbread cookies and snowballs, I really enjoy your videos. Love from Canada to you and Glen,🇨🇦👍🎄❤️
Two favorites here peanut butter and sugar cookies...corina your peppermint candy patties looked so good im still thinking bout them..holidays and so much yum.be blessed and cookies look yum too.
We like, chocolate chip cookies, and sugar cookie, I always use butter. My new favorite is the pumpkin bread, with cream cheese. The one you made ,we both love it.I found I can't have pumpkin pie, any more,my tummy doesn't like it, I used to love it. But I always make a pecan pie.
I’m having turkey dinner tomorrow (23rd) because my son and family are going to be out of town at in-laws. I seem to be so tired. I’ll be baking today because I had to go out of town unexpectedly for a few days (sister was admitted to hospital in another city). I’m not stressing out, though. As long as we’re together. I’m making cheese cake, cranberry cake and a few easy cookies and squares. Have a great day!
I have 3 favorite treats. Peanut nut roll , Divinity & Anise candy, I haven't had the Divinity & Anise candy in years so I don't know the the recipe or how to make it , my 86 year old best friends made it for me as a kid & she has since passed
My favorite holiday cookies are Tollhouse chocolate chip cookies with walnuts. For the noodle bake, if you substitute marinara/spaghetti sauce and use mozzarella, it could be a lasagna type noodle bake.
My mom used to make some cookies with marachino cherries and they were inside a doug that also contained coconut. Then baked. I remember making the balls then hiding the cherry inside. I can't find the recipe
The casserole looks good. It did look like it could have used more sauce. I always adjust recipes. Cookies looked good too, but I'm not a fan of peanut butter.

Easy lazagna cool idea - will be making az we have wanted that meal foe awhile.
The one you mix🎉😢 I up in 😂 bowl…
As you were layering it, I was thinking it would be better all mixed together. I would double the meat sauce and use less noodles too.
Covering the pot with a lid three quarters of the way will speed up the process to boil the water immensely.

Your cookies and your meal looks delicious thanks for sharing with us God bless you today tomorrow and 4ever ❤❤
I'll be making this casserole recipe after Christmas.
I make Rotel, sausage, cheese dip with Tortilla chips. I also like no bake chocolate oatmeal cookies. Funny; we call them cow piles. LOL
Put a lid on the pasta pot and it won't take so long to come to a boil🙂
Steamed Pudding with warm custard
I think I've made that spur. Ream noodle bake before...I think Rachel Ray made a version on her tv show way back when
i just did the cool whip cookies using cake mix, they were good
I love peanut butter M&M’s.
