I have a theory on the second group.
Since their first 2 words were video games, I'm going to make an assumption that they're at least a bit nerdy. From a young age, nerds are often picked on for the things they're passionate about, and when cool kids talk to them, it can end in surprise mockery. So, a nerd learns to internalize their emotions and show nothing on the outside. They're just as pumped as someone jumping up and down, but in the past they've mocked, possibly beaten up, just for being excited about something not "cool." After years of hiding your emotions, it's difficult to let loose and dance, sway, or possibly even smile at something. I'm sure those kids thought HM was the raddest thing ever, but they live a life terrified of expressing enjoyment in public.

I really try not to judge peoples reactions whether it be Omegle Bars or Guerilla Bars for this very reason. Everyone is different and we have the benefit of the pause button so we can take a moment to grab a bag to hyperventilate into. If I was just minding my business and Harry grabbed me and started spazzing, I’m sure I’d embarrass myself! I can’t remember half the show of his I went to because the adrenaline made me blackout! Until you’re there getting murdered by Harry, it’s hard to judge.❤️😂

About the solo black dude in the last part of the video; where I am from and grew up we had a foreign (not black but colored) kid in school. He was the only one in the entire school alongside his brother, with about 500 students total. It's not like we purposely didn't include other coloured kids into our circle. So I feel like I have to give an alternative view of that second group. For sure you can see the difference in their energy, but it's not so simple as saying "they need to act like they're into it". There are a few situations I can think of that would explain them not going crazy. First, if they aren't used to seeing performers in public(not in a concert hall, for example where you're expected to stay quiet until the end), it might not occur to them that they *could* react in the moment. Second, maybe they're trying to honor him by fully concentrating on what he's saying which, with a performer like HMack means you don't get a break... The man just punches over and over. Third, social anxiety is a MFer... Dude you think is mad probably just doesn't know how to show appreciation for what he's seeing. He may even want to.
Sorry I know that's an essay and I will fully admit they may have just not been into it and he should move on, but it's not always just that straightforward. Especially speaking as a nerd that would totally be guilt of both 2 and 3 and have been around classically trained musicians that would totally do the first
Absolutely, I had a similar thought about them, thinking that possibly their whole life they've been mocked for being excited about things that aren't cool, so they've been forced to learn to internalize their emotions, and are scared to let anything show on the outside that then could be mocked
I low key kinda hate when people judge others reactions, unless the audience is being disrespectful of course. Social cues and interactions are hard for some. Even going on Omegle to connect with people is huge for some, and can be considered part of therapy for anxiety/depression/spectrum issues. But Guerilla Bars are people going about their day, they aren’t seeking attention. Obviously, hype crowds are preferable, it’s called an energy exchange for a reason. But to hate on folks that don’t react the way one ‘thinks’ they would in that situation, is weird. Not to mention, it’s like the antithesis of what Harry stands for..There I made you not feel bad for your essay.😉❤️

Reactors bashing people for not catching bars or lack of reaction, are the absolute lamest. There could be multiple reasons for it. Some people simply doesn't listen to rap and when even the reactors won't catch everything from the comfort of their homes, maybe it's time to get off your high horse. They're caught off guard, doing their thing, by someone random and vast amount of public feel camera shy so it's not that easy to just let yourself go. Lastly, most probably don't even realize it's off the top until Harry references them. Hell, there's a bunch of reactors who first react to Harry and still after first episode think it's written.
That being said, I otherwise enjoyed your reaction, as always. Just asking for creators to focus on what's important - Harry's performance, instead of needlessly clowning on random people. Yes, we all know Harry prefers crowd to give energy back, but he would also be the first one tell everyone to have human decency and treat others with respect and empathy.
