Missing your videos. Praying you and your family are well. Spring and fresh beginnings are near. Looking forward to some great videos and love to Lukey also! My dog loves his lammy!
Fantastic video, Troy. I’ve already decided to copy your design for my ice shack, so it was nice to see the some of the initial pros and cons of the diesel heater placement. Keep up the great videos!!!!!
God bless you Troy. Happy to see some heat for the ice shack. Looking forward to seeing it in use. Come on winter! Here in southern Ontario we are having a green Christmas. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. Cheers.
I been researching these and had one sent to me as well. I think for you a box mounted on the outside to house the heater. It will cut down on the noise. There is a number of videos of guys mounting them on the outside of their garages. This this will be a great addition to the fishing hut.
If you mount it on the outside of the house, you should just run to heat ducts. One going it and one going out (cold air return like on your home furnace) and watch the fuel. You may have to add some kind of additive to keep the diesel from jelling in colder weather.
yes sir buddy he will keep you warm for sure. seen lot of them getting around now i got to get one. Merry Christmas to your family from mine. have a great one
I’m thinking of buying a diesel heater like that. Can’t wait to see your next video to see how good it works. I saw Chuck Porter used one and he was pretty happy with it. Pat
love your videos. i just bought the same one. been doing research on installs - going to put it in my garage. one of the things i am reading is the exhaust line should slope down for condensation. also a lot of people use a marine port exhaust fitting to go through the exterior wall. there also seems to be a lot of debate about where to draw the fresh air in take from. ie inside vs outside.
Happy holidays Troy and family, sending warmest wishes for a wonderful Holiday season and new year, long time no see, nice to see a video from you again.
one major con installing it there, is having to flip up your bed to refuel it. Fine now, but when your out on the hard water and set up, that wouldnt be too great IMO. I have not seen these in person, but you would think the air intake would need air from outside to keep the building balanced, especially if you get migranes! Or at least some sort of vent to get fresh air in the shack.
Quick question do you do any moose hunting I’m from the Avalon still catching up on your videos watching you building new cabin now so almost caught up. Love the videos keep up the awesome videos. Your from northern peninsula is that correct
I have the 800w and have no idea how long it would run, yet. I worked away all last winter never got to use my ice shack or heater. Hopefully I'll find out this winter, if we even get ice and snow.
They’re sending all RUclipsrs them but they are the same Chinese heaters off ebay. They’re about $50-$60 cheaper on ebay minus the vevor badge… bluetti is also doing the same handing their power stations to youtubers
Good to see you again Troy, great video, can't wait to see you try it on the ice. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Cheers.

Which Bluetti do you have, Troy? How many hours do you figure it would run the heater??
