I think after the events of Get Out, Chris decided to move back to the Haywood Ranch to help his father out. Maybe he changed his name to honor his father, or maybe changed his name to Chris in a way of defying his father at some point.
Before I saw NOPE I thought that this would be the plot, a direct sequel to "Get Out" and Chris had gone to live far away to forget the horrible events of "Get Out".
Great video I really enjoy Peele's work all of his movies are very consistent and I think the idea in Nope of the alien "ship" instead being the alien itself was a very unique way to approach it.
Same here! Especially with the design of it looking like a classic UFO ship I thought that was really clever.
amazing video man the thing about oj made a lot of sense he did seem a bit off and very introverted so that theory does make sense to an extent; also chris could be a tethered based off how he took on all the armitages at the end of get out in such a brutal manner, but that was most likely due to his sheer will of survival and adrenaline
I'd definitely chalk Chris's escape up to adrenaline, but who knows that could certainly be part of it too. I could really see either one of them being the one that's Tethered. And thank you very much, Brendan!

Nobody noticed the cloud pouring blood on a temple graphic on the teacup in get out? Just like in nope. I believe the order of the caligula is responsible for creating jean jacket. Also funny how Kaluuya was photographer in Get Out and Jean Jacket looks like a camera.

I think Jordan Peele & Steven King are the best horror creators and Honeslty I hope we get to see Jordan Peele direct another film in the Peeleverse. I’d think he would be perfect to take control of a reboot of the Dark Universe idea “I hope they would call it the Universal Monster Universe” it would be great to see it.
4:50 Nope definitely takes place after Us. In Us, the main story takes place 33 years after 1986, which sets the film in 2019. In Nope, the poster Jupe tries to give to Em & OJ says the Star Lasso Experience happens on Friday, September 9. The last time September 9 was on a Friday was 2022.

In US if all of the people across America has a clone that is being neglected beneath the tunnels, would that mean that the kidnapped people in Get Out who 's bodies are possessed by maniac souls of wealthy people have a tethered version of themselves as well?? Even before they were abducted they must have a tethered and so are the family clan?? That might be proving that the armitages aka the successors of the knights templar connect the films. Because of finding the "holy grail/a potential life force that can bring limitless life as I describe it."

We learn in the trailers that a UFO is haunting the residents of a landscape. Since copperpots cove may be the connection, I was wondering if the first thing they did is try to poach the alien and other beings similar yet apart from it to get their contents.They try to hunt down Kaiju.
I would love to see some sort of Knights Templar/Alien connection movie with some new characters and returning ones. I think he could reasonably make a sequel to all three films he’s made in the next one if he wanted to.

The end of Us…..the tethered are atop of the mountain holding hands……..What if they are waiting for Jean Jacket?
It's a good theory, considering that Us and NOPE take place in 2019, taking into account that the script for NOPE was written in 2019, so it makes sense that both movies take place in that year.
Cool but Nope takes place sometime between 2003 and 2009. Possibly even before 2009 because OJ uses a flip phone and Oprah announced she was cancelling her show in 2009. So it can’t take place anytime near Get Out since Get out obviously takes place after obamas second term/ most likely 2016.

Nope takes place in the 2020’s for sure. They used an oculus device, Em used a vape device that weren’t in existence till 2018-2019. I think OJ using a flip phone is meant to show how closed off he is from everyone else in the world or something like that
Considering Jean Jacket is partially inspired by the true form of biblical angels, I wonder if this is any sort of link to the Knights Templar which were a religious order?

I love all three movies. All are different and also excellent.
I haven't seen NOPE yet, but I've been convinced on my own theory that Get Out takes place after US and that Chris (along with majority of the population putting aside the rich and powerful are tethers who has, at the time of Get Out, assimilated into their original's role.
I feel like NOPE will prove to be the beginning of what allowed the Red Alchemist to put their big plans in motion.

I don’t think you’re too far off about the two characters played by the same actor are connected. My theory is that Chris moved away and lied about his family being deceased, I think Chris moved away and changed his name to OJ so that the people who tried to the wacky stuff on him wouldn’t find him. But your theory is a lot better than mine.
Also he has a lot of biblical references to each movie.

I know it’s probably not canon but I think it’s cool that the tethered react to the alien in nope for the horror tram in Universal Studios Horror nights by all pausing and looking up as it passes by.

A reason Chris could be a tethered is cuz maybe he killed his mom somehow instead of watching her die cuz Adelaide lied too about why the other her is gonna come after her. Ojs dad would move to a ranch and take him and his sister with him cuz he saw Chris, one who looks exactly like Oj so the dad prolly thinks he's a demon.

It is user theory and that is respected. But it is true, Jordan Peele affirms that his films are indirectly connected and there are some "easter eggs", However, it does not mean that it is a saga or a trilogy. They're just "easter eggs" for fun.

All 3 movies are trash. I've watched them more than once to try to understand why people like them. The only reason I can think people like these movies is because African Americans are the main characters. There is nothing special about these movies expect for the concepts that were executed very poorly
