I am a 71y r old female with a 6mm Superior Hypophyseal Artery aneurysm that was discovered when I had a TIA Ischemic stroke that was very brief. There is also a small 2 mm aneurysm. My blood pressure is normal and I don't smoke and never have. I recently underwent a cerebral angiogram that I tolerated well. Was done through femarol artery in Houston at Methodist Hospital.

Thank you, this is exactly what I experienced. We are on the same path forward to living with an aneurysm.
Dr Richard Williamson, Allegheny General, was my surgeon.

@@suewagner4555 i hope all of us will be healed soon....! Last year I was diagnosed with this.... I'm under doctors evaluation... Doctors also don't want to do any kind of surgery as I'm pretty young.... I pray everyday.... But at the end of this always hits..be strong, closely observe your BP and maintain your heartbeat.. Hope this helps. You can stay with this till a certain age if it's less than 4cm . Don't smoke, don't drink alcohol... Be stressless! I pray for everyone of us.

Kimberly - I'm taking a big chance here, but I'd like to get in contact with you. I collapsed last year, and was unconscious for 6 days. I'm still here, obviously, but my life has taken a catastrophic turn. Contact me at merrittdfallis@gmail.com

This information has really helped me. I have an unuptured anuerysm, pending surgery in 7 days. I got tired of worrying about whether the anuerysm would rupture. Had pains in my head in the middle of the night, which was very scary. This has gone in for almost 8 months now

That’s unfortunate about your family. Often ppl who don’t have sufficient knowledge on the effects of neurological damage don’t understand how it can change your behavior and mood dramatically.

I feel like I'm in your situation now.... I feel life is hell after the diagnosis... No one can understand your feelings, even your parents will not understand this.. The anger, the sadness, the tension. As a woman, I know I can't get pregnant. Can't ruin others'life by marrying.. So many things are messing up ...
