Thanks very informative I also use the stems I freeze them also with the beets and the leaves I make a nice little package good tip with the apple cider vinegar I will try that. I also use the FoodSaver for everything thanks once again

I just love beets. I've heard that they build red blood cells. Go figure! I had no idea that you boiled them with the peels on. Thanks for the tips!
Oh by the way my beagle loved beets raw or cooked,I like taking the beet juice and putting boiled eggs in it,beet pickled eggs...yum....yum...
