Tolani, you are a summer light in this gray winter land. Stay strong and continue to inspire us. ☀☀☀ Regarding negative comments, don't forget that 'bots' are common. As part of the information war, the Baltic countries are constantly attacked by propaganda, which is reflected in the comments. A distorted view is being formed-that Western values are bad, foreigners are bad, we are small, unimportant, and should stay closed, stay hidden etc. Unfortunately, there are vulnerable people who are affected by this.

as a person who was born in Lithuania I just want to say don't pay attention to online bullying. Honestly it's almost a part of our tradition 😆 Lithuanians also get bullied and it's really sad. Somehow normal people are not participating in virtual discussions so much, but idiots - all the time (that makes me an idiot too 😆)

@@DiDiary Realistically, it shouldn't be that hard learning Lithuanian for you then. Despite how much people hate to admit it, we have quite a few loan words from Russian and the language itself is structured similar to East Slavic languages. Learning Lithuanian as a native English speaker would be much harder, meanwhile learning it as speaker of a non European language would probably be hell.

Either you integrate or you will be rejected and left as an outsider. We won't change the way we are, your responsibility is to adapt to the system. Simple as that. The same applies to every single one of us no matter where we relocate.

im not racist, i hang out with blacks, play ball and drink, but if you wanna go that route - tell me one black dominated country that is doing better that any white dominated country. Turn of your prejudice, just tell me which one is it :)

Well, with the way mass immigration is happening it may be that there will be no white dominated country soon. But maybe politicians will start stopping mass migration.

Countries are one thing but we should strive to judge people as individuals, there are a lot of smart and hard working people, maybe not as much to build great countries yet but does not mean there aren't any. Same as there are Lithuanians aa capable as Swiss or Americans despite Lithuania being less well off

Depends on the type of immigrants. We ourselves have exported all of our "doctors" into Scandinavia and UK. Legal migrants from Africa will more than likely be educated and wealthy. The ones coming with boats though. Different story.
