I'll say for the price of 360$ it's of very very good quality and heavy, I do believe they are over priced though. Probably because the demand is so high they know they can jack up prices and still sell. I do love the shirt.
I have this shirt; feels really amazing and it really does stand out among flannel shirts. One critique and which is actually huge -- why do Iron Heart have such horrendous fits? I can’t even get close to buttoning the top button, the shoulders are white narrow, but the waist opening is slightly too large. If I was to go the next size up, it would look absurd around my waist/hips as it would be far too large. I don’t get it…does Iron Heart mostly sell outside of Japan and think the rest of the world is fat? I would love to see Iron Heart flannels with The Flat Head fit…would be perfection
Iron Heart are inconsistent with their sizing, I have five IH Western shirt shirts, and they all fit slightly different. I mainly wish that they would give a choice of length. I have to take an XL for the chest and shoulders, but the length always feels two inches too long. I also have a Flat Head shirt, which is a very nice fit.
If only I could find one in my size. Tried on a large but no luck fitted more like a medium. Being more expensive it has to fit right. Thanks for the heads up on shrinkage 2XL may be better. I normally wear a large. Awesome quality
Oh absolutely. Oddly they larger leather laces snapped so I swapped the to the thing, flat waxed laces. The change has been huge and maybe they have just broken in at the same time but now they feel great and don't feel as cumbersome to put on even for a short walk or trip down the shops. I will do another video eventually. That is for sure.
I tried this one in the Western, but didn't fit in the shoulder. I now have the Work version. My first IH UHF. It's pretty special and should go like a dream with a pair of black or OD 777s (which I also bought lol). Tending to pair it with a black T-shirt as you've gone with.
Very nice, but I can't wear many of the modern Japanese flannels like Iron Heart due to them being cut to be worn too small over the chest and torso for my tastes. Call me Old School but I think men look better when they're not crammed into heir shirts and pants, and the comfort of having a looser cut can't be beat. Once I get the chest measurements right the arms hem length are just too long.
So nice that you managed to get your hand on this one, I remember that you mentioned it during review of anniversary one. I got myself IHSH-341-BLK but out of the whole AW22 my personal favorite was IHSH-339-SAX to the point that I got 2 just to secure that pattern for many years to come. It fits like all the other UHFs but as a brand iron heart fit very very slim. I have a 43 inch chest and was suffocated by a large work shirt. Decided to return and go for this one, but I’m a XXL in this!

Never was a fan of the flannels in the western style.. Every other shirt?..Great look, but not in the flannels, work shirt is the way to go for me.

This is my 2nd fav heavy flannel from IH. First is the Anniversary shirt! As always go up one size, especially on westerns.
