I just got mine last week. No maker label but size label said 100% Coton which is French for cotton and the size 42 was in red. It was the best of the lot as I wanted one that first of all fit me and second was a vibrant blue and not faded. I'll be handwashing only mine using detergent for dark clothes. One thing I need to change sadly is the wrist buttons as I don't like having to undo cuff buttons when putting on a coat, looks like I have space to move the cuff buttons over one button length. Thanks for your review, they are almost unheard of in Canada but I'd certainly buy a Vetra is I saw one.
Thanks for the sincere comment! New Vetra may be scarce since their staff are limited, but I've seen many vintage ones too. Also beauty of cintage french work jackets can be shared through many other brands, even the ones that have closed down. Hope you enjoy yours :)
How often do you wash it? I just ordered one from Le Laboureur mostly because the size measurements looked like it’d fit me the best and I kind of like the gaudy label on the inside pocket.
@@manuelvillalba-i7s I just throw it in the washer like any other clothing. As this is built to be strong, it can take some beating. Just don't wash them in hot water.
My girlfriend is going to France and I'm making her get me one! How tall are you btw? I'm 5 '6, 37-inch chest, 140 pounds. Not sure if I should get a 44 or 46
@@MashiroRedo sounds great! I am 173cm/70kg(5'7 feet/154 pounds). I would suggest 46 if you want a slightly larger fit for you, but at the end of the day you know what’s best for you.
If you want to be sure, I’d suggest getting your measurements and give it to your girlfriend. Then she could ask the people from the shop. Hope you get the right size mate. 👍
I wear moleskin shirts in my rotation and I can tell you from experience that the material will not fade in creases and edges like the normal cotton drill, mine is over ten years old worn every weekend and the colour is still solid.
@@amarushekuku Hey there, it depends on where you live, but there are some select shops that sells Vetra’s jacket locally. Do you live in Japan? I looked up and the “Bshop” seems to sell them in Japan.
@@amarushekuku I see. It seems vetra’s official website also ships to USA as well. Here’s their website : www.vetra.fr/en/12-french-workwear-dungaree-mens-jackets
Thanks for this nice video !

@@splashpit That’s cool. I wonder how it looks. Maybe it’s difference due to the thickness?
