BMW Key Battery X5 2016 HOW TO change

This video looks at how to change the key battery on the new style of BMW car key.
The battery is a CR2032 and it is very easy for you to change if you watch the video.

Thank you - nice video. My x3 complained of low battery in the fob. So i followed your instructions. Got a new cr2032. Old battery was slightly drained and that tallies. But now the new fob did not work. I had to use the display key fob to unlock and then the normal fob started working. But still the boot release function did not work. Is there a need for fob to be "re-taught" after battery change. Pls reply. Thank you
