2 years later, good luck getting a C8 at msrp. cant even get the cheapest one that is base for 55k they want 90k for it

You can always make up some of the cost by selling off the OEM body parts removed before the conversion.
The c8 destroyed the kit car market imo, most kit cars use the c5/c6 platform and are going to cost you more than 60k... just get the c8 which looks amazing, way better than any kit car and worthy of super car status
But still, It's mass produced, while kit cars tend to be more exclusive and rare
Unless you already own a C6, then it's only $30K. If you have to buy a car, I completely agree with you - just get the C8!

@@whoisbotsman 30k+ wheels, tires, paint, interior etc etc etc. From the sound of it all they are doing is putting on the body kits and leaving everything else as an old dusty c6 so yea that really not a good deal overall.
Unlike the vaydor, the valarra corvette has the performance to match it's aggressive appearance
Regis Sanders can’t you just throw in a new motor, a turbo charger and a few other performance items to make your Vaydor perform as good as it looks? I don’t know much about cars so that is why I’m asking
@@S.R_Productions yeah you can, but then you'd be paying all that extra work done on top of the body kit. Easier to just get a car that already has the performance

The interior remodel is worth it to me. I’m cool with a normal c6 exterior and opening the doors to see that interior. They should have gone after a cheaper corvette in my opinion. Older vettes will still take a lot of power and would benefit more from the kit.
It's got twin turbo mounted in the back to give it that rear engine look . Looks good!
for the money you drop on the valarra you could get a serious modded tt c8 and wide arch kit ect just be as bonkers i feel!
You could do that but the kit is meant for looks and also if you have the time and money to put the kit on i think you could TT it anyways

Reliable and humurous, the kind of resource I'm looking for!
I would agree that $30k would be overpriced for JUST the kit, but with install, it's not that bad. It's FAR more than just a "body kit". I've spent $5k on a bodykit that only includes side skirts, fenders, and front/rear bumper and the installation was also about $5k. Absolutely the labor on this is worth at least $10k. And as far as performance mods go, if your donor car is a Z06, that's fairly beefy and even though it's only 505hp, you can crank that up to 600 or so with minor bolt ons, which you would do anyway if you were doing this kit
If money was never an issue, I would get the Valarra; just for the fact that it looks like an awesome hotwheels car came to life (and the customization options in gives). Realisticly, the C8 is way more responsible purchase. The Valarra looked so sick though, damn.

Almost did one until I factored in insurance. Comically high for kits with limited parts where you basically have tk replace the whole body. Brand new C8 becomes cheaper option.

You will have over $100,000 in it by the time you finish it . Wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t actually around $125,000 for a decent build. I’d as soon have the C8 which will definitely kill about any C6

C8 though, wait for the the issues of new configuration to be ironed out.... beware though, transmission fluid not completely, full from GM on C8. needs 2 quarts, which cost $50 each, need this if you plan to race it. I noticed prices of C6 go up after this video another $10K

Yea a new Corvette would be the smartest thing to do. I hope they make a future Stingray kit with actual engine mods add a couple of electric motors making it awd. That would be a game changer. I would imagine 0-100 in sub 2 seconds

The Zedro Notorious is probably more like the Vayder. It uses an infinity G37 chassis and running gear. Plus its more practical then both the cars mentioned here. It has back seats. Not as much power as the Valara though.

I wonder if the insurance premiums change as a result, seeing that repairs or replacement would be near impossible.
From getting a bit of seat time in a 1lt C8 then trying to look out the back that $100,000 entry into supercardom is the best bet. It has absolutely no view out the back just like all the $300,000 + mid engined super cars.

I'd pick a wrecked c6 with the frame and engine still attached which could be $2000 to $8000 then buy the kit which will cover the exterior and interior costs

I would rather have a c6 corvette Valarra but the problem is, are there wheel spacers? or are the wheels extended, and I would definitely put a new engine in it most likely an ls7, a twin turbo set, and all that even if I do touch six figures, it just transforms the car, or if I wanted to so bad, I can buy a salvage Ferrari or something that has an exotic noise and put it in the Valarra, making it a whole different car that is just on a c6 corvette chassis.
I'm thinking which car is next after Corvette 🤔

They aren't sold in the UK where I live and also a corvette would have to be imported from somewhere else as there are no c6 corvettes in the country
Yeah I would buy a 911, Cayman, Jaguar F-Type R, or SVR than paying import safety costs, only buy Naturally Aspirated ( N/A) or Supercharged, Mustang GT 5.0 Performance Pack 2, then add supercharger go from 460 Bhp to 725+ Bhp
mg boi I live in maldives and people have to import cars because there is no car dealership and people have to pay the government the same price you paid for the vehicle and because of that only 5 supercars in the entire country
