I have always stuck with Turtle Beach throughout the years, currently rocking Stealth 700 Gen 2 for ps5, it's not so much the sound quality i buy them for, which is great for about a month, but i'll always stick with turtle beach simply because the mic quality is the best outta any headset. I hate talking to people with astros, or ps headsets. I talk a lot of shit so i have to sound as good as i can doing it 😂
I got the pulse and gen 2. Kept the TB , way more comfortable,felt premium, like how there’s an app to play with different frequencies,sounds great!! The mic , friends didn’t have issues and I was like who cares about you guys, its for me !! Lol but honestly happy
Oh yes I was having mic issues with the sony 3D pulse other day. My friends was saying the bass was funny in the background also I was sounding like an alien I wasn’t clear. But when I bought the 700 max fixed EVERYTHING i sounded way better more clear. Not to mention the bass and sound quality was clear I was doing way better with the 700 stealth then the pulse headsets so I was happy I choose the 700 stealth.
Can you use the audio/chat mixer on the Turtle beach or is just an exclusive PS product feature? The ability to lower or increased chat audio is the most important feature for me.
Yes you can. I do want to let you know since I have been using the turtle beach a while now I have had some issues with static on the audio. At this time id recommend the 3D Pulse over it.
After long term use they are both good and for dollar value id get the 3D Pulse. Turtle beach has a range issue it cuts out if you arent within a meter of the console
I'm pissed off I just got the turtle beach gen 2 max for playstaion 5 everything is bad ass but won thing they hurt my damn ears iv tired too adjust them and everything still don't any advice
Comfort wise it hurts your ears? It may just not be a good fit for you, I have experienced that before with certain headsets. I owned a Bose gaming headset back on the xbox one that was not comfortable for my ears but better for others.
Hey thanks for the review. I just had a doubt about the 3D audio. Some people are saying the 3D audio and directional audio is bad or atleast worse than arctis 7s and arctis nova 7s. Do you think ot is bad?
I have not used those headsets so I cant speak on those. Between the 2 headsets here factoring cost to quality I would say 3D Pulse is the winner especially after now having them both for many months.

dsamn i was going to get the stealth 700 but then I heard the mic and kinda cringed ,wasn't clear af at all. Not sure if that's just because it's on console, since I'm a pc boy i'm looking for a pair that has good audio quality and a have very nice sound to the microphone. I'm iffy when buying high cost headphones, it really feels like the price for expensive headsets is there because of the audio and that's it. I've had like 3/4 expensive headsets (100 - 300$ range) and all of them except 1 had a horrible microphone quality which that 1 was a kraken storm trooper themed headset (though even this one it was catching some unwanted background noise despite trying to change settings but it wasn't too bad at all)
The room i was recording in was pretty empty so there was a lot of reverb. However, the mic has other issues that have popped up since this review with range being one of them.

Had 2 gen 2 700 now n both have bricked on me randomly working the night before an the next day not turning on an only had for 3 months otherwise it’s a great headset
I used the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 on my Xbox One. I then switched to PlayStation 5 and didn't want to pay nearly $200 for Turtle Beach headphones again, because my Xbox Stealth 700 is not compatible. I went with the Pulse, which was the worst choice I could have made. I wear glasses, and the Pulse hurts with them. The ear cups are circular, rather than oval, which my ears do not fit well inside of. After an hour, my head starts to hurt from the Pulse. The Stealth 700 is literally 100000000x better than the Pulse.
I had a horrible experience with the stealth 700 gen 2, headset shit the bed 3 times in less than a month so after the 3rd time i decided to bring it back to bestbuy and exchange it for the astro a50's that have been truly amazing in my opinion, no nothing against the stealth 700's they sound great but they juat didnt even last at all i believe it was a firmware issue at the time
I've had the Pulse headset for awhile now and I find it VERY uncomfortable and I think the mic sounds really 'tinny' and weak. The Turtle Beach is MUCH MUCH better overall.

He lowered the volume for the Pulse, yet he said no differences. Pay attention to the Mic Volume dragger when he switches. Wether or not it’s a slight bit difference it’s still not something you can confirm since the volume was dropped for the pulse.
@@juanacosta2253 The reason the mic was turned down was because the audio was clipping. If I didn't lower it we would have had even worse audio quality on the 3D Pulse headset.

agree bro the Sony to me are heavy and very weak on max volume. I have the TB 500s & 600s and are hard to beat.

Comfort wise it hurts your ears? It may just not be a good fit for you, I have experienced that before with certain headsets. I owned a Bose gaming headset back on the xbox one that was not comfortable for my ears but better for others.

My pulse fell apart too. The build quality is terrible.

The battery charges fast!
No issues on my end, but I'm sitting very close to my console. Hopefully they come out with a fix for that sooner than later.

Stealth 700 Gen 2s have a really annoying audio delay when used on the Xbox. Ruins movies and shooters. It's a dealbreaker.
I have only used it on PS5 and have not experienced anything like this.
