hey just got this headset for my PC(PS5 version) Does your master volume on your phone app reach all the way up?? all my settings on my PC are up to 100 and still sounds like its 70% up. also on my audio hub app the green bar is not all the way up but I cant adjust it. any help would be appreciated.
Owner of this headset. On PC the only way you can adjust volume is with the wheel. Trying to change the sound on your pc does not work. It will always be at 100. I don't know if this is just my headset, computer or something else.
Stealth 700 Gen 1 had “DTS Headphone:X Surround Sound” which sounded much better than the Gen 2 which lacks it. Turtle Beach upgraded everything except the… sound.
Looking at this or the nova 7x just cant decide which is better which would you go for also which ones are louder and which would you say bave a better sound
Nova 7X all the way! They are better sounding and significantly more comfortable. I have a review for them if you need more detail. I reviewed both headsets at the same time.
Yeah I saw both and u answered the fact that the 7x will save eq to the headset from pc so u can customise the sound for Xbox as I know they are pretty similar with battery and they look a hundred percent more comfy as the shape of the tb are just not there for me plus the fact you can also go with wicked cushion replacements too if needed on 7x are they suitable for a bigger head lol and are they quite loud with limiter off as I’m a little hard of hearing so a bit of volume is good for me
What are you saying the weakest point is the sound??? I checked already more then 5 YT´ers and they all say it sounds super nice, one of the best points of this headset.
I've seen other reviewers say that and I stand by my opinion. Compared to the Sennheiser IE200 and HD560S that I use for comparison, they have a muffled sounding mid-range and a shouty top-end. Not to my taste at all. Particularly bad for music.
@@goukigod thank you so much for your answer! So you find in ear headset better then the 700 gen 2 max. That says a lot. That HD 560s has crazy max and min frequencies but is it a gaming headset? It has no mic or anything so maybe not comparable? Maybe you can help me with my choice with your knowledge? I am searching for wireless, with bluetooth or USB C connection to phone, good removable mic, good audio, comfortable over ear, preffer no (fake) leather, because my previous 5y old Hyper x cloud alpha it´s earcups and headband flake off. With a budget of €100 but can be a bit more if good headsets drop close to €100 on black friday, so I can wait. My first option was the Barracuda X 2022, but maybe the audio isn´t that good I don´t know so that´s why the stealth 700 gen 2 max became a good option because very YTer till now was very positive about the audio for example GadgetryTech who seems very reliable imo, also TheTechne was very positive. Next to those I also found the Razer Kaira pro but don´t know about Xbox or PS version which to take but people also seem to be very positive about them Last but not least also found the Razer blackshark V2 pro but it has type micro USB which is really negative and they only have a wired option to use on phone. The 2023 version on the other hand seems very good, but way too expensive atm, unless it makes a big drop on black friday. I also don´t know a lot about audio and a lot of people talk shit about Razer synaps, it´s a plus that you don´t need that with the Barracuda X 2022 and the Raizer Kaira pro PS version (don´t know about the Xbox version). I mostly play F1 games, World of Tanks, RDR 2, Assassin´s Creed, Kingdome come Deliverance, Rocket league, CoD MW warzone, GTA 5 I would really appreciate your recommendations!
@@EagleGhost8 I use IEMs and wired headphones for listening to music. I'm not an audiophile but I understand what characteristics define "good" audio and use this knowledge when reviewing headsets to detremine the sound quality. IEMs are pretty hard to beat in terms of bang for your buck but no, they generally don't have mics. The HD560S is an open back headphone, not a headset but it sounds better than 90% of headsets on the market today. I made a video a little while back on this topic that you might find really helpful ruclips.net/video/nQYxStG38v4/видео.html Honestly, finding a headset that perfoms well in all the areas you need will be a tall/exepnsive order. I'd check out the EPOS H3PRO Hybrid though. Seems like a close fit. The mic isn't the best gaming headset mic out there but it's far from the worst.
@@goukigod alright thank you!! I´ll definitely check the video. Those Epos seems to be pretty good, but also way out of my price range. Maybe in the future or on black friday they will drop, but I doubt that. Still thank you for your answers, that really deserves a sub!
"Flawed with good value" in the long run means do not buy. I hope you guys know that. I have bought multiple TB wireless headsets and they cut in and out. They do and they will. Don't say you were not warned.
Theoretically, if I purchased the Xbox transmitter separately, would the PS 700 max version of the headset work with an xbox transmitter on an xbox console?
Mines less than 2 weeks old. And today my sound on COD is constantly glitchy. I went against what others said about not buying these, I’ve always used TB headsets. But these are turning out to be junk. Any one else have this issue? Got a fix ? I’ve got the transmitter plugged into my Xbox, clear signal path of 4ft and still glitchy
Turn down the lower wheel next to the mode button, turn it all the way down until you hear a beep, next adjust the master volume wheel to your liking, I just picked up this headset yesterday and it took some time to figure out
The trick I learned was to program the wheel to "chat volume" adjust it to where you want it and then program the wheel to Bluetooth, this way it doesn't reset the chat volume on its on because it will change chat volume automatically if you don't do as I said
I had the gen 2 for my Xbox and they sounded great. Always had super human hearing mode on for playing apex. They unfortunately snapped and I got given the gen 2 MAX as a replacement. They sound horrible to me lol. And the superman hearing mode crackles and pops. A damn shame. 😭
@@DarloAceOP From what I gathered, around the price range of the Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX the best comparable pair would be the Nova 7 - but regardless of your choice I hope they manage to get their QC under control and bring you a pair that lasts.

You'd probably need to ask Turtle beach support that question.
Im having a issue of not hearing sound from my phone when on bluetooth, even after update. and dont see anyone else having this issue
Do you have the app? Maybe check your volume level there
@@goukigod yes i do, and still nothing
Other things you can check
* The volume on your phone is turned up
* Try un-pairing and re-pairing your phone
* Hard reseting the headset

If you can listen on bluetooth at full volume, either your hearing is shitty or the quality of your source is shitty. These things are loud AF
