True. Mina is one of the best early game investments though as the rewards you get from events, canyons, etc. add up quickly and those end up providing you better opportunities to develop quicker too. Its the compounding of benefits that helps you elevate your game AND status in the kingdom.
hey Chisgule, is 5-5-1-1 minamoto better than 5-1-1-5? obviously requires a lot of luck to get 5-1-1-5, but assuming it's possible, isn't the 4th skill's buff to all damage (even if only a % chance) better than a buff to attack and march speed? especially given how common it is to get attack buffs with equipment, skins etc
When I entered SoC and I started working on Nevsky/Joan I was happy to have Mina/Mehmed both with double relic. And even when Nev/Joan became my primary cav march.. Mina/Mehmed still held second cav March for a loooong time. Never regretted the Mina ❤

Yup I actually use mina ethel from kvk1 to 3 and i'm getting great result but be wary of it cuz it's very squishy so wotk on your equipment and tech that all gives health
At first I was planning 5111 but people said 5511 minimum and will be usable until kvk2 (or something about kvk3). I'm mostly f2p but I'm not sure if I'll push that one. Another thing, sleeper or jumper? Group or solo? Only did a solo jump so far so if I'll 5511 mina, I want to make sure I won't regret it😂
If sleeper, planning to follow logic bank (but not the challenge, just the power to join top alliance) but probably will not use gem for keys and merchant refresh, don't know if that will be good or not

Yes, the only way to get minamoto is by buying him. Other commanders you can get for free, and are better than minamoto. That will require you to be in the end game.
I'm no whale but I've maxed Mina and everytime there's a barbarian event I always use my Minamoto, coz heck I've spend money and I'm getting my money's worth! 😂😂
New players spending then yes on Minimomo. everybody else no. FTP wont get minimomo anyway. He has a great first relic 25 20. 30 30 on the second relic for 1800 extra coins is not so hot. Aeth is a much better value and she is free for all.

5XXX mina is still good. For low spend it is good plus the additonal books of covenant. Yeah don't max him in the end game, rather spend it on mats.
