Hi Kris, I really find your videos very good ! Keep on making those good videos . I find my key of the Polestar very nice, it's an understatement key of an understatement car, I like that . Otherwise, yes there are a few minus points like you said , but who cares, they don't bother me and its the best car I've had so far. Greetings from Leuven !!

The whole point of the high level centre console works with the gear lever designed as a place to test your wrist whilst operating the screen which enables much more accurate usage. Practically it works very well. It's also linked with the battery layout. But I do think the console needs refining. I came from an S90 which also lacked decent cup holders. Water bottles for in the door pockets. However from a safety perspective we should not really be drinking that much as it can be a distraction but we all do it. Unless you design your own car you will always have niggles. One of the worst problems in a car was the awful 3 series bmw leather seats some of the worst I've ever sat in.

Since I am in the UK and cars here are right hand drive, I am wondering whether the placement of the left foot rest/ ‘dead pedal’ feels any different on right hand drive cars as you seem to be saying that that only reason it is nearer to you on left hand drive cars is because of the wheel arch which does not apply on RHD cars as the left foot rest is next to the centre console not the door. Has anyone driven a RHD one yet? I agree that the key looks really cheap and nasty, not what you would expect when buying a £50,000 car, Polestar should do better. The shiny black plastic does look nice but I agree it may be impractical. The cup holder position is definitely strange but then I have never used the cup holders in my car so not any issue for me. The phone charger and USB sockets aren’t a big issue either as long as it has a USB socket for my USB flash drive with all my music on it which is how I listen to music on my current car. Polestar don’t seem to have got their act together at all here in the UK. I live in the South of England and there are no dealers for Polestar at all in the South of England right across the country from the West Coast to the East coast, not one! The closest one is in London and all of the others are north of that. By the time Polestar have sorted themselves out just about every other mainstream car manufacturer will be ahead of the game when it comes to marketing their EVs (new models seem to be coming out every month) and that’s not even counting Tesla which is by far the most popular EV on the road here. I see at least one or two Teslas every day, I occasionally see other manufacturers’ EVs as they are more prevalent than they used to be but I have still never seen a Polestar. They may just turn out to be a total flop here if no one even knows they exist. I still hope to see one soon though and if I ever get to test drive one I am sure to make my own list of likes/dislikes and the inevitable comparisons to Tesla (which I also haven’t test driven yet!).

I have a few to add: Lack of different ambient lighting colors, rear visibility and charging speed. I do love the looks, the handling and the power. I'm down to 2 vehicles - the Polestar 2 Dual Motor with Plus and Pilot and the Hyundai Ioniq 5 AWD Limited. The Hyundai is in the lead due to charging speed, vehicle to load and ambient lighting options.

Nice video thank you. I guess I just don't like that whole counsel design as especially as a taller person it limits the amount of movement of your legs and knees. For storage unless I'm getting my vehicles mixed up that second cup holder underneath the armrest can be removed which makes a perfect place for sunglasses etc. Also has a taller driver when you put the seat back your left hand elbow doesn't have much left for an elbow rest. I found all of these things together to kind of turn me off to the pollstar. The Kia ev6 has its own issues but I might like it better

I did a test drive in the Polestar 2 a couple weeks ago and despite it being a nice car on the outside, I was baffled by the cheap plastic parts in the doors and the bottom of the centre console - which is done much better in any current Volvo. Also, the centre console in its entirety is a joke. It's massive, bulky, ridiculously tall, and not least the cup holders are just unacceptable. I own a V60 2019 Momentum Pro and even though that's not a very luxurious edition (comparably in the Volvo range), it just feels so much more quality and thought through in the details. I am going to wait for Polestar to improve on those details with their next models and iterations, before I get all excited again... ;)

I shortlisted the car prior test-driving it. I was lucky enough to drive a performance package, however that revealed some major flaws on the design. I like the car, but had to drop it from my short list due to: 1. Cheap plastic materials in the cockpit. They just did not match up to my expectations of a good quality car. 2. Rear seat sitting position is not meant for travelling. They were just horrible. Also the seat cushions were really hard and not comfortable at all. 3. The center console. That is just a major design flaw in itself. You really don't need it in an EV, but everything on it just felt off. 4. Bumpy ride with a performance pack. You could feel every stone and every dip on the road. If you buy the car, don't get the performance pack. 5. I just hated the signal sound. Almost felt like not putting them on after awhile. HOWEVER... I did like: 1. The center display with Android Auto. It was one of the best I've tested fo far. I loved how easy it was navigate and it included all the essential controls also while driving. e.g. Steering wheel hardness, one pedal driving options. Also, it was just the right size. Not too big, not too little. 2. exterior design. 3. Breaks on the performance package. Really efficient. 4. Option with yellow seatbelts. 5. Overall drivability and stability. Anyway. I dropped the car from my shortlist after the test-drive

The rear window, I realy don't like the lack of view especially in dark circumstances. It is one black box...
The mirrors, they collaps not completely and slowly. In circumstances you need every inch passing cars etc.
The range, 100% and it starts with 400km? The speed of speed charging?
    Connecting problems...
But all over, the car is so much fun, most of the complaints can be fixed by new updates, models...
