The time not passing in the dungeon world but passing in the real world is pretty similar to what some of the Persona games have, so it would make sense.
It may be interesting if day/night cycles worked similarly to the original SNES Harvest Moon, where the day is limited, meaning you have limited time to buy/sell/talk to villagers, and in this case sell chocolate, but infinite time for organizing your farm/foraging, (I believe at the cost of reduced energy efficiency, but with infinite energy regeneration with the spa). I don't know if a system like that would be enjoyable though lol. Might be more likely that we either move the day along manually, similar to some indie farm games, or something more like what was stated in the video, (paused time in the portal or a more loose time system in general)
The only thing that makes me not play Stardew Valley is the time passing quickly, that stresses me out so much. Hoping for no time passage in haunted chocolatier 🙏
i have no opinions other then i hate the ui i hate when games put the health on corner and the inventory in the complete other they should be in the same general area
I really want to dig deeper into the supernatural side of this universe. The elemental war, arcanums etc just sounded so super interesting
I hadn’t even noticed the clock thing! I can’t wait until this game comes out 😩
If this is correct, this would help me as someone who needs to take their time figuring out EVERYTHING!

Hoenstly I'm super excited at the concept of not having time be such a huge driver of the game mechanisms!! Love the video
Thank you!!
we might get more time, which would be nice to see for the new game!😄
i hope so. that was an incredibly important part of what made stardew great

Yeah really interesting theory!

Though it could also be a longer day, like 4 irl hours in hc compared to 15 irl minutes in sv
I can get behind a slower timeflow... if that's what ConcernedApe decides of course!
That's good.
I HATE time.
