He becomes the island's "hero" by defeating Brickster, even though he is the one who keeps letting him out.

Chris Stewart When I was young, I was frustrated at many parts of the game. There were too many minigames and some were too difficult (because of the horrible controls) and others were too long. I just gave up at "Adventurers Island" and simply replayed the previous parts. I was able to finish the first and third Lego island games but not this garbage.
The loading times are totally awful when the game is running in fullscreen, in windowed mode it loads way faster. Apparently it’s since the game tried to update the pizza animation at a higher priority than actually loading the game data. I’m not sure why windowed mode is faster however, perhaps due to an accidental code error like the one that happened with the original game’s controls.

Ogel was the main villain from alpha team,from about 2002 or so. It was Lego backwards,so either ogel was referencing the brickster's planet or they were just Easter eggs.
Also Castle Island is based on Knights Kingdom 1, except for whatever reason they gave Cedric and his army a castle when he never had one in the sets....
I've actually heard that the reason that the loading times are so long is because files in the game are mixed up and put in the wrong places, so the game loads things that don't even need to be loaded.

I watched Man of Steel with my nephew. I repeatedly told him how the old Superman (Christopher Reeve) was so much better! Then I watched this. Now I know how my nephew felt.
I don't just get nostalgic about this game anymore. I also get nostalgic about watching this video and Brutalmoose for the first time, along with Caddi's Lego Island 2 review too which came out around the same time.
