Too many fouls overall in the league, but the issue is its never the right ones. Its always some call where someone barely gets touched, or theres a no-call because the refs just "feel" like letting the players play through fouls for 10min.
Likely gambling has had a huge effect on how the sport is officiated. I wonder how much money Vegas made last year by having the Heat purposefully injure their opponents to the Finals while still getting a ton of calls their way.

They cry at every single play. Every single player. A player can literally go and smack another player in the face and then they cry to the refs that they did nothing. A player misses a layup with no contact what's so ever and they cry. Fans too. 100% correct call and fans are like that should be a no call. If they don't call the other teams fans would be like oh we got robbed. Like do people not see how much crying there is in sports? It's not just the NBA. Look at last night. Mahomes and chiefs fans was crying about a clear off sides. Oh that should be a no call. And if the shoe was on the other foot and it was a no call chiefs fans would be crying about how they got robbed. Sports is just getting so hard to watch now. Literally every single fanbase yells ref sucks when there team loses. That's literally the person fans blame for your teaming losing. Every single fanbase believes the refs screwed them in every single game they have ever lost. Every single team is being targeted by the refs. Every single team that lost a game is due to the refs. What else is new? At this point no opposing team has ever won a game without the help of the refs.

I have been hyper critical of the players whining about getting fouled (usually over little to no contact) but this was insane! It wasn't just a foul, it was a running foul that lasted through at least 3 steps and involved him getting his arm held, body blocked, AND hit in the face during a shot. Then the ref knows he fucked up so he acts like a child and calls a technical when the player is trying to get his head back in the game and is clapping to build his intensity......then he throws out the star player from the home team. Just crazy....

@@edijs4d Okay, you realize what a "hook" is, right? Trae's arm is at a 90 degree angle with his hand point up. There was no trapping of the defender's arm. He reached in trying to get the ball, hit the offensive player's chest and his face, Young reached his arm UP to ward off the contact, and the defender had no problem removing his arm when he wanted to.
A "hook" is when you TRAP the defender's arm and use it to either get around him or hold him against you to draw a foul. I've got the screen frozen in front of me and and there is no part of the picture where Trae is trapping his arm. He's trying to push it away because of the contact (if you freeze it in the right place you see just after the defender hit him in the face an Young's left eye is closed from the contact as he's dribbling).
At this point, teams should just leave the court!

Even admits during the press conference his player was off sides yet he's still crying. Chiefs fans crying about that correct call. When does the crying in sports end? Like if players/fans didn't cry about literally every single play that doesn't go there way it wouldn't be so bad. But to cry over correct calls and incorrect calls. To cry when players flop and not get the call. Where the does the crying stop? Has a team in sports ever lost a game that wasn't due to the refs?

There is no point in being on the court anymore once a ref like that starts taking shit personally. Nothing worse than a power-tripping ref. Might as well just pay a guy off the street to stand next to the court in the ref uniform. Literally would have a better impact on the game.

@@adriansmith2295 yea bro arm checked Trae so you could call that soft foul if you want, but then Trae locks his arm in an upward position like he's tryna waive to someone in the crowd or something. Quite an interesting tactic I'd have to say, I've never seen anyone run while pointing their off arm upright to fend off a defender. Normally you just keep your arm out horizontally to create separation between the defender and yourself, but I guess Trae doesn't know that. Instead, Trae's basically holding the defender's arm in his own way.
Anyways, the defender realizes he messed up so the only possible way he can get his arm out of Trae's elbow crack is by lifting it past by Trae's face. And honestly looking back at it again, I can't even be sure if the defender makes contact with Trae's face. I wouldn't have thought of that if the announcer didn't mention it, because of how out-of-control Trae is running there while throwing his head around. Like at the 19 second mark judging from Trae flinging his head back randomly and shouting, it looks like an invisible arm raked Trae across the face harder than the actual defender did (if he even did).
