This Is A DISGRACE For The NBA…How The Refs ROBBED Toronto

Wo where’s the foul here? Even in slow mo on the replay I don’t see how you can call this.
And watch this offensive foul that was actually a flop by AD, effectively taking away this three here by Scottie Barnes.
After the game coach Rajakovic was furious and delivered one of the most epic postgame rants.
So let’s go and check all the questionable decisions in the fourth quarter to see if Toronto really got robbed in this game.
First thing that I wanna point out is a non call by the refs. To me this is a clear extension of the forearm by Davis causing Barnes to lean sideways, and is almost always a whistle. The refs missed this.
Then we got this foul on AD. Scottie Barnes plays perfect defense, but on the replay you see Quickley coming in at the last moment and pushing Davis. Although this is very slight, it is still a push so technically the correct call, and the Raptors wasted their review on this.
The very next possession, after committing his 5th foul, Quickley makes another costly mistake, which basically took him out of the game. This was actually a flagrant foul and from what I’ve seen, elbow to the head is usually called a flagrant. You can see the ref explaining to Quickley the difference of having your elbows low and tucked in, as opposed to what he did.
Now if they called that little ticky tack push on IQ against Davis, then this push by Taurean Prince is definitely a foul. He sent Thadeous Young flying, and obviously affected the shot, so I have no idea how this was a non call.
Chronologically, we now get to the example from the intro. A ridiculous call
Then, watch this:
Let me play it in slow motion now frame by frame, and stop it right here to see that Barrett's swipe is on the outside of the ball. There is no contact to the arm here.
Then let’s go to this angle from the replay, and watch how Christy in fact loses the ball up here by himself. This was not a result of the swipe down low. This is not a foul, but the Lakers got more free throws.
And in a crucial possession with less than 30 seconds to go, we got this shameless flop by Davis, and the offensive foul, wiping out the three which would have tied the game.
Instead, now the Raptors play the foul game and commit 4 fouls resulting in 8 free throws for the Lakers which inflated the numbers a little bit to 23 shots in the fourth.
With 10 seconds to go on this drive by Scottie Barnes, the Raptors commentators argue that this could also be an and-1.
If that was the case, then this meaningless 3 by Pascal Siakam would have actually tied the game.
There were definitely some questionable calls that directly impacted the final result. But if you ask Lebron, everything was clean.
Having the refs be the main actors of the game is a bad look for the league, especially when it’s happening for the second consecutive day. Check out how the refs robbed the Celtics right here in this video. Talk to you in the next one. Peace out. Спорт

Really, the more frustrating part is the non-calls on the other side. If a feather touch on one side is a foul, it should be the same for the other.
Exactly!
I have little problem with games where both teams shoot like 40 free throws but it should be so that BOTH teams shot around 40 free throws. The fact that the lakers shot 3 times as many free throws despite the fact that the Raptors had more paint points doesnt make any sense. Clearly rigged.

The league really wants the players to NOT play defense. Even if you just stood and raise your arms to prevent the shot with little contact, all it takes is a little bit of acting and you get called for a foul.
The NBA should just come out and say playing defense is illegal.
It was certainly legal for the Lakers to play tough, physical defence on the Raptors last night, especially on that last drive by Scottie.
The league wants teams that are most likely to bring viewers to be in the finals. Its not about the defense, its not about basketball, its about show business.
@@jackkerouac4587
Makes me hope that Cleveland ends up playing against Minnesota in the NBA finals.
That won't make the NBA happy which will make me happy.
Someone should do a little video demonstrating how teams should avoid getting fouls when playing defence against the Lakers.
Rule 1: Defensive players should maintain a distance of 12 feet from
Lakers players at all times.
Rule 2: Defensive players should remain absolutely stationary at all times and should not even blink or breathe.
.
Rule 3: At all times Defensive players should look submissive and remain bowed down to Lakers players until Lakers score a basket.
Failure to abide by these rules will lead to a flagrant foul being called, two technical fouls and an ejection.
Complaining about being penalized that way will lead to a lengthy suspension.
Complaining about such a suspension will get a player banned from the NBA for life and banned from all NBA arenas for life.

This game reminds me of Lions vs Cowboys game last week. The referees needs to be punished for their mistakes😡😒

Lions/Cowboys was completely different. The lions went for it on 4th and goal instead of kicking the easy chip shot field goal then instead of taking the hint went for a 2 point conversion over and over again instead of the extra point and going to O.T. The Raptors didnt have much choice in what just happened to them.

Not only was the flop by Davis ridiculous, the call went against a basic rule of the game. Basketball 101 - if two players collide while both of them are moving it's a defensive foul.
Watching the game as a completely neutral fan, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this blatant cheating going on….the refs should be punished.

Man watching LeBron trying to keep a straight face when he said they fouled we didn’t, was priceless. He complains when someone looks at him while going to the basket. League thinks TO is a joke and got a wake up call when we won in 2019 and is making sure we don’t ever get back. I’m not saying TO didn’t commit those fouls but the refs need to be fined for being bribed or something, maybe he (the ref) needs glasses and is too macho to admit it?
Nobody views Toronto any different than any other big market team besides the fact they have cold weather. Are you saying just the league or fans in general?

The rigged Lakers - Raptors game last night was disgraceful. The NBA has been rigged for a while. I don't pay much attention to it anymore. The NBA is a 3 point shooting contest with little defense. Players always skipping games is a big F.U. to fans paying crazy ticket prices.

And the Lakers hit all their free throws…. Could have been a great overtime game.
Die Hard Laker Fan since 90’s, I like the game being played right! I hate this finessing so a team has an advantage, and Bron literally saying we fouled less, be honest man. I applaud and love the Raptors head coach defending his guys 💯, NBA we all have eyes and I would say most if not all Non Laker fans saw that as clear as day.
Bron complained about the Celtics-Pacers game, but not on his when he wins.
😂😂😂
Guy is a comedian.
If I am Raptors head coach and I’d told all starters walked to the locker room with the reserve players on the court just kept fouling the lakers as they wish !!
Let’s go Raptors and someone give the refs eyes
The league basically winning games for LeCrybaby 😭😭😂
Refs preparing for a 2002 lakers vs Kings series 😂😂😂
The offensive foul on Ad is absolute nonsense. However, you can call the first on Reaves, hands on the body, and Young's body leaning toward Austin so he can't jump straight. It's a very common call actually
Edit.
The foul on Barnes is highly debatable, for me it doesn't exist in any league, about the flagrant the referees told that because the elbow was horizontal that was a flagrant, which is nonsense of course. Finally, foul on Christie it's a shame of course, there was nothing there.
This call is what’s wrong with the nba. I agree it’s commonly called but it shouldn’t be. Contact initiated by the offensive player, should just be non call. Offensive players should have to finish through contact when they initiate
@@kevincastro8617my friend, you are talking with a person that would eliminate half of the calls in the Nba. My philosophy is let players play until something really undebetable happens. I agree, but that's the way it is.
WHAT!? If you call that a foul then no defensive play is clean
Dude. It's only common if your a star. If your lebron, or any other "star" you can put your hands all over people.
If your a "small" market team your screwed.
Check the nba's own stats on 4th quarters. It's a joke.
They've been abusing toronto for years.
Barrett was literally moving. You literally see the replay of him not being set. The commentators said it too. It was an offensive foul but davis flopped too
I’ve been wondering when the league would start giving LA the IST officiating they enjoyed so much again.
Oh look, another grown man whining like a little baby. Take the L and sit down.
You can always tell. If the lakers start falling out of the playoff/play-in, they're going to start getting games like these.
reffing was fixed or completely inept... either one is unacceptable
Any real fan of the NBA for a long time, knows the NBA seems off. When one goes and digs. You find the Lakers Blazers Playoff Series, you find the Kings Lakers Playoff Series..... and we can go on and on. The ref who was working games, mafia style, gambling. READ HIS BOOK. The NBA send to each game a memo from NY, the games are being managed, finessed from NY, think of it as a long story being drawn out. NBA, NFL and WWE all have more in common that folks realize.
