@@aashiralibabbar4011 Cousin marriage related genetic problems can be manifested in newborn of any couple. Brain Atrophy can be due to huntington or alzhemier or any other genetic disorder. My suggestion in your case would be to go for PERI-IMPLANTATION GENETIC TESTING , in highly developed centres of the country where the disease free embryo is implanted by IVF method. And in case of unplanned pregnany , go for Chorioic villous sampling or Amniocentesis to have prenanatl diagnosis of any susped genetic disorder , so that pregnancy is not carried further. yes. Although the risks are more with first cousin, but as certain genetic disorders run in families and are usually undiagnosed, so these can be manifested in any closely related couples of same families.
