I'm about to run this in January, and I cannot thank you enough for this series. I haven't watched a second of it yet, but I can tell it's going to be worthwhile! You rock!
I have used the Witchlight Hand background while playing through this campaign. I played a low intelligence bugbear fighter who really only worked on the back end items of the carnival. He only had a very passing acquaintance of the NPCs in the carnival and didn’t have any interaction with Mr. Witch or Mr. Light. So he didn’t really know what was happening in chapter 1. It also allowed for warlock plot hook and allowed others to interact with the lost things plot hook and get a blend of the 2 that way. Great video. A lot of excellent advice.
Definitely agree with the other comments, this is 100% the most helpful video on the campaign that I’ve seen 😍 I’m a first time DM planning this and I’m so excited, thank you for this 🙏
Nice video! About to start running this this week! We're doing the Lost Things hook, and one of my players really wanted the Witchlight Hand background as a current Hand. Getting around some of the awkwardness inherent with that by giving them a Lost Thing of their memory- past is lost and their recent memory is pretty hazy as well.
ah the crappy period of making videos for the microcrowd hoping it will picks up sometimes. I'm commenting just for the algorithm to notice interaction :-). I subbed too, good luck mate!

This guide is the best on RUclips! This has helped me so much already for starting this campaign next week.
Wow thank you! Best of luck with your campaign!

Fantastic breakdown!! I love the extra bits you've thrown in with Zybilna as the fairy godmother!
Thanks!
I really enjoyed your notes on everything. I watched the Chapter One video and was so pleased I just jumped back to watch the session zero.
Thanks!
This was so helpful thank you! This will be my first time DMing so this was great!
You are most welcome! Best of luck with the DMing!
