If you're experiencing ringing in your ears, don't fret! It's common and there are a variety of reasons it can occur. Things like loud noises, ear infections, stress, and more can cause ringing in your ears.
It's always a good idea to chat with a doctor to get an accurate diagnosis and figure out the best plan of action for you personally. In the meantime, taking care of your hearing and reducing stress can also help alleviate the ringing.

I didn’t even realize there was music until reading the comments, the ringing in my ears blocks those types of noises. For instance, I can’t hear the beep on my microwave.

My tinnitus, as well as ear infections, are directly connected to my diet. Wheat/gluten/processed sugars cause immediate ear issues for me… firs tinnitus and if I continue to eat these things it will turn into painful ear infections with blood and drainage, and even hearing loss. Same thing with my dad! I wish there was more research on this.

I developed tinnitus on a flight back from California to Virginia, that was about eight years ago. My sound is a loud hissing. I saw an ENT when it started who told me to cut back on salt. However, follow-up research has found that salt intake is irrelevant. It is something I live with and have learned to ignore, as I type this, the hissing is loud.

I never had that before my lies. I’ve never been to any concerts or anything so I never had anything to compare it to, but the pain was awfuland the next thing I know this sound started up now before any of that ever started I had all own sounds of something like that, but it would go away but this once it came on, it stayed on you know the movie them. Psychologist wants to put me on meds, then more meds to deal with the meds she put me on. I’m just finding ways to cope with it, hearing aid masker, ear buds or blue tooth headband for sleeping with some masking sounds. I treat the stress when it gets bad with meds. Some days are good, some are loud, just got to cope best you can.

So we need to protect ourself from loud sounds even far more ? ...it is really official otherwise because logically that is the truth..especially when noises create more pain in the ears. Please address this question with your professional opinion? It’s not curable at all , not. Bytapping your head , or blowing your nose when you hold it , NOTHING CURES IT sadly you have to learn to live with it.

I got tinnitus. I've had it for years. Going to nightclubs with loud music caused it, I reckon.
