For those who are wondering about the yaoi fanart of Tweek and Craig in the game, Matt and Trey hosted a contest/submission on their tumblr for the episode where the two get together reaching out for their fans with any fanart of the two together. Of course, there were already fans who had art ready, and those who created new pieces quickly for the episode, where at the end of the episode they give special thanks to those who contribute their art for the episode. As well that some of the South Park animators made their own Tweek and Craig fanart to help branch out the art style

i wanna give a shout out to the really good music of this game - specifically the raisin girls' battle theme, which is pretty clearly a homage to the powerpuff girls' theme! (also, watching dan play this led to me picking up the game again, to which i learned i never actually beat the game to begin with. just recently finished it, currently working my way through the danger deck!)
The music is indeed amazing there are a few ones I don't really like but they generally are amazing. (The club battle theme is a personal favorite for me)
The art direction of both of these first two games were amazing. They perfectly capture the look, feel, and sound of the show, which is impressive given the artstyle. The same animations, musical queues, etc. will play for scenes that could just come straight fro the show if you didn't know better.

Old People is a decent pick because you only have to fight them once. In the base game though vampires is the best pick for a weakness because outside of DLC there are literally none in the game. Kryptonite doesn't do much noticeable anyway.
Fun fact, the choice doesnt actually matter at all, nothing happens when you fight your kryptonite. Just a minor flaw really, but something shouldve happened, like taking more damage and/or less damage taken from you

I like that before New Kid joins them in superheroes, you see them just kinda playing pretend really. But once Buttlord is in play, everything becomes more real. Question is if theyre still all just playing pretend and somehow stumbling into winning fights against really stupid adults, or is New Kid actually magic through belief like an Ork and is making their powers real? The kids just dont notice because theyre stuck in their imagination anyway
I think in the actual show, the others are playing pretend and stumbling into winning fights except for Kenny where during the episodes he was playing pretend but was also seeking out real fights and actually using his ability because he was aware of it

I must say. Mitch's intro graphic is pretty cool looking. The western font with the projector sounds along with the grainy, old-fashioned look really makes him feel like a threat rather than Cartman's hand.
So you inspired me to reinstall this and the only thing in the chest at the start are cosmetics. The crafting materials are actually put in there as you complete masteries on your character card and are part of the base game. You're supposed to have them.

It’s weird how well this game has aged, which I think is just a testament to the humour and style of South Park. Not only is the stuff about superhero franchises even more relevant now than it was in 2017, but the redneck bit aged phenomenally. South Park, remarkably, has some of the best disability rep in media. All the kids treat Jimmy and Timmy as full human beings and want to include them in whatever they are doing. There are some great episodes where the kids will be playing football or something and Jimmy and Timmy are included.
I watched through the stream archive, but I'm still going to watch this video. Not only is it very weird that RT never watched South Park, because he very much seems like someone that got his sense of humor from the show, it's also weird how many things are absolutely normal for anyone who watched the show. It's been a while since I watched the show, but iirc Mitch Connor exists solely because Cartman wants to do bad things, but doesn't want the responsibility for it, so he does it through this weird alternate personality. It's not actually a disorder btw, he's completely aware he's doing it.
Butters is my favourite character so whenever I could I always had Professor Chaos in my party when I played this game. After that post credit scene I would've liked a sequel or dlc where you become a villain and team up with Chaos or something. That could've been cool, but oh well. Call girl too, mostly because her abilities are ridiculously strong.
Butters is one of my favorite characters and while Professor Chaos was stronger in Stick Of Truth, I still included him once the player is able to achieve him. However, that would’ve been a cool DLC mode although I don’t know what would be the new power up since story based DLCs always give you a new ability. We can only hope besides the fanfic fuel
While not written as strongly as "The Stick of Truth", "Fractured but Whole" is still an excellent game, still packed to the tits with references from the show, still funny as hell, and arguably has better over-all gameplay. Also, having a much bigger party and reserve members, on top of all of them having a massive variety of moves AND the player character having not only a tonne of classes to help mix and match their hero, but entertaining and absolutely BUSTED fart/time powers makes for a hell of a fun experience. This duology is amazing. Also, the DLC extra chapters are fun as well!
i'd say the only real flaw in the game is that it lacks a really good final boss. Nazi ZOmbie Princess Kenny is an amazing final boss battle, so fighting mitch connor and mitch connor isn't nearly as impressive (of course some see the horror DLC as giving a better final boss but still that's DLC)
@@sarafontanini7051 To be fair, DLC Final Bosses can count as final bosses, especially if they are better than the base game ones. Take Elden Ring and Bloodborne as examples. Both have pretty good/great final bosses, but the DLC FBs are pretty much amazing, to say the least. Also, I have to kinda disagree with the last boss in the base game being the only flaw. I still think that the over-all story/narrative of Fractured but Whole is a step down. It's still pretty good, but Stick of Truth, I felt, was just amazing in it's writing, full stop.

yeah, there was an episode where they portrayed that design as Moses and its stuck for no reason what's funny is they took the villain from an old disney movie and used his design for one of the most benevolent and good natured characters in south park also the south park episode was the first time i saw the design so the joke was lost on me until years later when i watched tron for the first time

This game is the reason I opened my mind to trans stuff and allat, and learned what the term cisgendered was, due to the councilor scene in this game. Thank you to my parents for getting me this game when I had just turned fourteen, it was all I asked for for Christmas that year and I got it lol. Watching this game seven years later just hits different knowing that despite me barely remembering it it was a foundational game to the person I am now.

Yknow.... I think instead of Southpark snow day, we should've gotten a 3rd game where we play as the villain along side professor chaos on a mission to bring destruction to the town. It would've been great carrying on from thar last line butters gave. Basically end up as Clyde from the first game, start off with getting kicked out and start building up an army and go against the main Southpark cast at the end or something. Idk, I doubt it'd make much sense or work well given how these 2 games played out. But almost anything would've been better than snow day.
If anyone want's to watch some south park I'd heavily recommend watching South park bigger longer uncut (movie), it was made quite early in shows history so you don't need meta context and it's unironically a very good musical.

i wanna give a shout out to the really good music of this game - specifically the raisin girls' battle theme, which is pretty clearly a homage to the powerpuff girls' theme!
(also, watching dan play this led to me picking up the game again, to which i learned i never actually beat the game to begin with. just recently finished it, currently working my way through the danger deck!)
The music is indeed amazing there are a few ones I don't really like but they generally are amazing.
(The club battle theme is a personal favorite for me)

The art direction of both of these first two games were amazing. They perfectly capture the look, feel, and sound of the show, which is impressive given the artstyle. The same animations, musical queues, etc. will play for scenes that could just come straight fro the show if you didn't know better.

Old People is a decent pick because you only have to fight them once. In the base game though vampires is the best pick for a weakness because outside of DLC there are literally none in the game. Kryptonite doesn't do much noticeable anyway.
You will notice if you pick Crab People.
Fun fact, the choice doesnt actually matter at all, nothing happens when you fight your kryptonite. Just a minor flaw really, but something shouldve happened, like taking more damage and/or less damage taken from you

So you inspired me to reinstall this and the only thing in the chest at the start are cosmetics. The crafting materials are actually put in there as you complete masteries on your character card and are part of the base game. You're supposed to have them.

Not only is the stuff about superhero franchises even more relevant now than it was in 2017, but the redneck bit aged phenomenally. One thing I find sort of endearing, none of the kids in South Park interrupts Jimmy.
South Park, remarkably, has some of the best disability rep in media. All the kids treat Jimmy and Timmy as full human beings and want to include them in whatever they are doing. There are some great episodes where the kids will be playing football or something and Jimmy and Timmy are included.

Butters is my favourite character so whenever I could I always had Professor Chaos in my party when I played this game.
After that post credit scene I would've liked a sequel or dlc where you become a villain and team up with Chaos or something. That could've been cool, but oh well.
Call girl too, mostly because her abilities are ridiculously strong.
Butters is one of my favorite characters and while Professor Chaos was stronger in Stick Of Truth, I still included him once the player is able to achieve him. However, that would’ve been a cool DLC mode although I don’t know what would be the new power up since story based DLCs always give you a new ability. We can only hope besides the fanfic fuel
or hell a DLC or sequel where he's the big bad outright
While not written as strongly as "The Stick of Truth", "Fractured but Whole" is still an excellent game, still packed to the tits with references from the show, still funny as hell, and arguably has better over-all gameplay. Also, having a much bigger party and reserve members, on top of all of them having a massive variety of moves AND the player character having not only a tonne of classes to help mix and match their hero, but entertaining and absolutely BUSTED fart/time powers makes for a hell of a fun experience.
This duology is amazing.
Also, the DLC extra chapters are fun as well!
i'd say the only real flaw in the game is that it lacks a really good final boss. Nazi ZOmbie Princess Kenny is an amazing final boss battle, so fighting mitch connor and mitch connor isn't nearly as impressive (of course some see the horror DLC as giving a better final boss but still that's DLC)
@@sarafontanini7051 To be fair, DLC Final Bosses can count as final bosses, especially if they are better than the base game ones. Take Elden Ring and Bloodborne as examples. Both have pretty good/great final bosses, but the DLC FBs are pretty much amazing, to say the least.
Also, I have to kinda disagree with the last boss in the base game being the only flaw. I still think that the over-all story/narrative of Fractured but Whole is a step down. It's still pretty good, but Stick of Truth, I felt, was just amazing in it's writing, full stop.
Love how the gambling got him even in South Park.
After this, I feel like Dad needs a thorough detox on the South Park series. Just some wholesome games for a while-

what's funny is they took the villain from an old disney movie and used his design for one of the most benevolent and good natured characters in south park
also the south park episode was the first time i saw the design so the joke was lost on me until years later when i watched tron for the first time
