Yet again!!! I'm speechless. I really hope the members of Kansas, especially Kerry Livgren, get to hear this astounding arrangement and performance. I've been a Kansas fan since the beginning and they are still my favorite band besides Dream Theater. And I have to admit that the musicianship here is definitely on that level. Insanely great musicianship. I can't say that enough. And those harmonies!!! Oh my God. The new monsters on the block. Look out!!!!

I am probably one of the most experienced Kansas fans on the planet. They have always been my favorite band since I first heard Steve Walsh saying. I worked for them numerous times in the early days when Steve was singing for the band and toured with numerous bands that either co- headlined with them or opened up with them over the years. I am a stickler when it comes to this music. Because it absolutely narrated every second of my youth back in the 70s and early 80s.
This is the first cover of the Kansas song that I was not singing that I have ever listened to all the way through. I applaud you guys! What an awesome tribute and rendition! If you find me on Facebook you will see that I have toured with the biggest bands in the world for most of my life and it’s 65 I am happily retired and picking and choosing occasional gigs just to keep myself active. The only other cover that I have personally Subscribe to is landed and Friends and their covers of Chicago songs. I am very impressed you guys kudos to you! And I’ve never said that to anybody else. I hope that means something

I was beyond excited to see this pop up online today! You guys absolutely kill every single Kansas song you cover - managing to make it sound like it was always played your way - but faithful to the orignal still. You have a true gift for arrangements and harmony, and I love the choice to do this acoustic with the flute!

Wow. Nothing else to say. I have listened and watched like 10 times now. Flute makes the song. The best part of the video, though, is when Martin finishes a long flourish of playing, and gets that look like “phew, I made it through!”. It made me smile. Thank you, and can’t wait for the rest.

I had to listen to it twice because it was so intricate. REALLY made me appreciate Kansas a LOT more. Just incredible. I had tears in my eyes.
That’s one of the reasons I like to listen to these videos, they display the intricacies of the music so well. I’ve always known how intricate the music of Kansas is, but you get a better appreciation for it watching them play it.
Great as expected! When a Piano-Guy like me doesn't miss the keys in a song which is rooted in Walshs piano, the arrangement must be extraordinary. Rachel plays a wonderful flute and has a surprising voice ( seems that lots of people know her, I am looking forward to listen to more of her music). At some points the song is even more groovy than the original. This cover doesn't try to pretend to be the original original. Instead it is a new original. Thanks!

Fantastisch! Die Vocals gefallen mir sogar besser als im Original 😊. Schön auch, dass Ihr mit Kansas immer wieder eine Band featured, die im Prog-Kosmos ein bisschen unterbewertet sind, ähnlich wie Banco aus Italien oder die frühen Wallenstein aus Mönchengladbach. I see the percussionist went with all Meinl custom darks. I noticed he used to have only the hi-hats in earlier videos. I have mostly Zildjan A's, but I have a custom dark 10" splash and a 16" crash. They look great and sound really nice! Also, just love that kit. It really works with your overall style. Really affective! Keep this stuff coming - it's excellent!!

A stripped-down, acoustic arrangement should be so simple, right? Right.... it's still quite complex; but you make it sound so easy. Beautiful music here, one and all.

All of the characteristic excellent musicianship, and singing I have come to expect from you guys. I really have to work VERY hard to find anything to constructively criticize. The only thing I would point out is the mixing. The volume of the different instruments isn't 100% there, but it is awfully close. Weak spots are the mixing of the drums, and the flute. I would have also done the flute more aggressively, but again, I am REALLY splitting hairs here - and only because you guys are so amazing, as are your collaborators. You should have a seriously legit major record deal!
Thanks for your great comment John. :) Please see, that these are no real drums. These are percussion instruments and they should not sound big and agressive. The flute is also played in a more soft way and it should sound more accomp. So I think it is all a matter of taste. :)
