I've been a huge Kansas fan since I first heard Left Overture in 1976 (13 years old). I clicked on this video out of curiosity, with low expectations and I was blown away by the talent of these folks!!! It sent chills down my spine and almost brought me to tears. Just Awesome!!! The video and sound are super well done as well. And it really demonstrates the complexity of Kerry Livgren's song writing. Please let me know if you guys ever perform in Portland, OR!!!

Agreed 100% Hats off to you talented people for performing a lesser known Kansas song in such a great way. I've also been a Kansas fan for quite a long time (since Audio Visions 1980) and I know that you guys nailed it here!

I think you guys did an awesome job. This is coming from a huge Kansas fan and I have literally aged and grown up with Kansas and was in contact with Dave Hope for years. I was right there in the 70's attending their concerts. I have every album they have recorded and I've listened for over 40 years... they are my favorite band. You did an excellent job but nobody can compete or compare to the vocal mastery of Steve Walsh. I'm sorry... this is Kansas's art and their song. I just couldn't do the vocals... the rest of it is tolerated but...

My favorite band since 1976..just saw this for the first time this morning and am just blown away. It's so cool to see the respect Kansas is now getting from your generation, as my generation seemed to not know what to think about the amazing made by a bunch of farm boys from middle America. Can't believe you just nailed probably the most classic Kansas song of all! Awesome job! Hope there will be more to come.

Or maybe I'm just old.... I appreciate everything that y'all do! This One and a few others are at your Top! "Covers" can be such a derogatory term....Just keep doing IT! Younger generations need to know what music IS

The Pinnacle by Kansas is specifically requested in my funeral/burial service plans, as is the wall. I want a long ass funeral where everybody is forced to sit and listen to some prog, with lyrics that deeply reflect my life. Even I will admit the lyrical writing on this is not livgrens best, lots of rhyming but still my choice

I saw Kansas in Milwaukee last July great concert, but some loud drunks were actually louder than Kansas. I am a guitarist, but have only played Dust in the Wind or Carry on Wayward Son. This was a totally different level.

These two are absolutely beyond amazing. You should hear them play miracles out of nowhere; do a search. It will blow you away. Not only is the musical content great, wait until you see the production, beyond belief. I'm sure every Kansas member has seen these and must be awestruck. Martin is the best guitaist, I mean musician I've heard in a long time. Great work!

Kansas was awesome even after Don Kirshner commercialized them with "Carry On" and so forth. But the true Kansas was their first three albums. The Pinnicle is not just the best of Kansas, it is the best EVER especially when it was mixed with Mysteries and Mayham in its original form.

My dear God! One of the songs I love most (thinking if it's the one I love most) from Kansas.... You guys must be playing somewhere with a much bigger auduence... Sax makes violin and Walsh mini Moog solos. Her voice is beautiful, and guitar playing... The drummer.... I'm crying with such beauty from a song i carried on with me all my life. Has a personal meaning. Love you guys. Keep the youth playing what's really music. An Anthem perhaps. Thanks

Absolutely Stellar! I'm a HUGE Kansas fan and that happens to be my favorite song by them. The bar was set quite high but you guys more than nailed it! Loved your interpretation and production…the sax was a nice addition. As a guitar player myself, that was some VERY nice chops and super clean…something that one doesn't find too much in today's tunes. You guys keep doin' what you're doing. Definitely let us know when your own new material is circulating. Do I dare hope there's some Kansas influence?

It thrills me to see and hear young people appreciating and remaking amazing music that is not popular anymore. As I watch your videos, as a musician, I appreciate your note-for-note accuracy, but adding your own individualism to the songs. Kansas- "Prelude Implicit" is an amazing album too. Glad to hear bands are still producing music that won't fade to dust over time, much like today's pop music. Bravo M&M! Oh, and REALLY wonderful video production too. Very tasteful.

I'm a 57 year old grown man and every time I see this video I start choking up and almost crying in awe. One reason why is I screwed my life up and I also didn't have parents to encourage me and I look back and see how happy people are that know how to play music to play an instrument to write lyrics that have meaning I sit back and I'm what the hell did I do my life I could have been doing this if I really put my mind to it. If I Only Had some positive influences around me when I was younger it could have been a reality. The satisfaction someone gets when they can play an instrument with such Authority and Clarity and professionalism you can't beat that feeling I'm sure I've never known that feeling but I can only imagine it's probably better than sex cuz it last a hell of a lot longer. God bless you guys for what you do God bless Kansas for putting out the original music and all the other musicians.

Aw, sweet, I get to be comment 208.
Gently a proud beautifully colored feather
floats sound down upon a lovely rack
As I stumbled upon this track, I had just been thinking
what fantastic progressive yet classical writers
these cats had proven themselves to be,
on record after record, and how I would love
to pay homage by covering one
One or two of their lesser-known deep cuts.
Like Hendrix, Rush, Yes, Led Zeppelin and Cream
    Moody Blues, and Black Sabbath,
    King Crimson, and ELP,
The Doors, Genesis, Airplane and Queen
    (and many others)
to try to quantify how many genres
    they subsquently influenced would
perpetually mystify any fool who dared to try.
A five-star effort by a few who stared
into the glass darkly more deeply than I,
and exchanged this gem to survive.

Well done! I like the substitution of the sax. The lead vocalist has a beautiful voice, but having an alto sing tenor seems sacrosanct. (No disrespect intended). I mean, can you imagine Cher singing Pavarotti's greatest hits? However, having said that Pink does a pretty mean version of Bohemian Rhapsody. Maybe I'm biased, too used to belting out those old Steve Walsh melody lines. Keep up the good work!

Martin, I don't know what the German word for this is, but in Georgia we say " HOLY CRAP THAT'S GOOD", I'll be subscibing and hope to see much more, carry on.

Really, really Fantastic. Nice interpretation without destroying the majestic original feel. Rich & Kerry should have taken a cue from your acoustic guitar work...

Just a beautiful job, guys. And so timely as Kansas is touring again and with sell out crouds. Your creativity and sensitivity is amazing, to say nothing of your talents. Saying "thank you" seems trivial, but also appropriate given our American holiday of Thanksgiving. Where are you guys from? Are you playing anything live in the states? How about getting onto Spotify? Lastly - I'd love to hear what you guys could do with this: ruclips.net/video/bfSVRJg8BUk/видео.html
    Cheers and God bless!

Probably one of the most epic prog rock songs ever, if not THE most epic one. And you gave it justice! Also thank you to Leo for lending your chops and voice to this one (I'm a big Pain of Salvation fan)! :)
