Wasted Years is one of those terrific songs that lends its self to being covered by lots of people. I’ve listened to probably about three dozen covers of Wasted Years from ‘no names’ all the way to ‘huge names’ and most of them are pretty good. Some of them are great! Melanie arrives, gently nods and politely moves to the front of the pack, and delivers arguably, one of the BEST covers of this song EVER !!!

There are so many covers of Wasted Years and most of them are actually really good. However, this is, in my humble opinion, the best. You really have brought out the lyricism and power of this incredible song.

This is way more heart felt than the original version. But Iron Maden wrote the song and produced it in their own style which I appreciate, too. But in my old age I like this better.
