OMG! I couldn't agree more with him. Richard... I am so glad you are spreading this awareness. I feel so bad for what men are facing now a days. The scales are WAAAAY off. Men have to set their foot down and set a standard for themselves.
Here is my unsolicited 2 cents. I am not trying to offend, or judge, or put anyone down. Just to spread awareness from a woman's perspective. You guys deserve good relationships. We all do!
Guys, check in with yourselves, when you are alone, just think about your life and who you are and why you are actually with a woman. Being lonely can cause you to make poor decisions that make you even more miserable and lonely down the road if you don't see it coming. I see so many sad older men dating young women who just want to party and that is a recipe for disaster. Just because a man has money doesn't guarantee she will stay good in the marriage. and if you marry or get with someone like that, you will live in fear that someone richer will pop up and she will go after him next, leaving you with even more poor self esteem issues. Who wants to live like that? MARRY ORGANIC LOVE not because they are available, or they stroke your ego but because their way of life will also bring out the best in you. Is she helping you build a future or is she just showing up when she needs something or is free for 2 hours and no one else is available for her until later? Women crave attention, and if you don't know that by now, it is no wonder women walk all over you. Is she giving you attention because you are the only one around at the time?
Women need to have real qualities to offer you to enhance your life as a team, not be a trade and barter relationship. Money for sex, money/gifts for time, money for company??? WHY do you like her? are you trying to feel young? Midlife crisis? Self esteem lacking men getting with really unpleasant women who will never ever be loyal and even the unattractive women seem like an option just to not be lonely? Understand that some women will spot you sitting alone looking all down at work or at the bar, or anywhere and when they get you talking to find out the problem they are just looking for what makes you tick. Honestly they are not going to really help you.
If a woman cares she will help you clean your house up, not just soil your sheets and bail. That is TRASH!
If a woman cares she will come to you when you are at home with a cold, not because you ask... SHE WILL JUST DO IT. IF SHE WANTS you she will look for any excuse to be with you especially if it helps you HEAL. She will even call in sick!
If a woman cares, she will tell you she will help you lose weight together if that is something you are dealing with, not to have sex, but to actually help you and maybe sex will happen, but that is not the main reason. Points if she doesn't have sex and is still interested.
If a woman cares about you she will VOLUNTEER to help you raise your kids from another relationship. No woman dreams of that, but she will BECOME selfless with her attention to what matters to YOU without getting anything out of it, because she wants YOU to be happy.
Don't IDEALIZE/ DREAM/ FANTASIZE about these women who are promising you a good time when you are down but as soon as they have what they want from you( lay, money, help at work) they bail and go to the next boy toy. That must feel like crap and you all deserve better. Set your standards in your relationships like you do a business. IF you hire mediocre(date mediocre-low standard women) don't expect long term success in your relationships/marriage.
There are good women out there, but like Richard says, men have to dig through the crap, that means you will come across them, that doesn't mean you have to have anything with them. LEARN TO SPOT SHITTY women depending on what works for you.i.e a woman who chews tobacco or drinks as soon as the sun comes up, or is a flake, or extremely lazy or is someone who just wants a built in daddy for her kids (not even yours) that expects you to do all the chores, errands, and kid care, just to keep a woman around. DON'T allow yourselves to get used. Chores and life are going to be there single or married. Women have lost their way. The nurturing and caring nature is out of whack. LEARN TO SAY NO. You are not a bad man for rejecting women.
Women know what they are doing when they are using men. Don't let them manipulate you based on your emotional state of mind. You are all deserving of good.

Wow one of the few that tells you how female nature works. I learned just by being a tutoring musician and watching how woman can be. The good the bad and ugly and this spot on. If you care to share more I would like to hear what you have to say.
While the advice is valid. Women need to be telling other married women to do more without expecting praise. Do all the household chores plus mow the lawn, take out the trash, etc. If you can help your man, a women should! While I do indeed appreciate all my wife does, I do not say praises after each and every time she does things, how could I, that is insane. Does she praise me for each hour I work? Nope, but she does appreciate my efforts. While I have a great wife, I do keep her in her place and I keep myself in my place and for that matter I keep many other things in their proper places. To think things have proper places is not insane as the media would tout, but it is how things should be! All that said, unmarried men are just in general retreating from women as it is hard to tell the good from the bad and also as men get older, the big head overpowers the little head! As far as being on a mens comment page, are you looking for a man? Most great men are taken and married and will not cheat. Other men are checking out of the marriage market due to poor trading conditions! BTW a man willing to hookup is different than a man willing to marry you!

EPIC VIDEO!!!! Spot on, these points of view need to become the accepted norm!!!! I work with horses for a living. Long story short, because of how domestic horses are used we have completely removed them from their natural way of life. Because of this, domestic horses behave completely dysfunctional with one another. Even if you get a group or pair that seems to get along, that doesn't mean there wont be a day when they try to kill each other over something trivial. All the while if their wild cousins were faced with a similar "dilemma" it would roll off their back as easily as water off a duck's. In my opinion, the alpha-beta dichotomous way of looking at masculinity is missing the point completely. It should be either you act like a man or you don't. That's that. What is probably meant by being alpha is being masculine. A masculine man lives life his own way, marches to the beat of his own drum, has self-control, is wise and mature, can navigate through life's storms and come out on the other side standing tall, has a sense of dignity and respect for himself and others. A man is a trooper of life. This, in my opinion should be what everyone of us males should live up to, instead of trying to measure up to the silly and rather ordinary displays of pseudo "alpha" behavior.
And society and young dudes need masculine role models, not "alpha" clowns.

If you want kids, then you should choose a great wife. Be picky guys. Also chose a women younger than you. There is a reason why this works. Men are more established and women have not fettered away fertile years goofing around. Women are designed to make babies, then care for them, then menopause and then take care of grand babies. So men, do choose a great mother, healthy fit, pretty face, virtue, compatible etc. Discuss kids while dating. Be all on the same page. In my opinion, this is harsh, men do not marry just to have one kid ideally have 3. Children need siblings. If a guy just wants one kid, he can have a kid with his girl friend and never marry her. Not even live with her as that might be common law marriage. Guys should document all support of the child in case sued. But that is way less risky than marriage with one kid.

I live in Mexico, I don’t care what you think but I say it out loud, the most important thing for me it’s my family, before my job, hobbies etc. My wife and kids come first.
These are 3 things I do:
1 I am the boss so I behave like the boss. My kids know I’m the boss, my dogs know I’m the boss and my wife knows I’m the boss.
2) I take decisions in most aspects of our life... sometimes I would tell my wife, hey we are going out to have dinner, put the little black dress I love (I don’t ask).
3) I have been practicing martial arts for many years so I know how to defend myself and my family... women love lethal man that are civil.

every live in relationship ive been in turned into a weird twisted humiliating dance of obligations over time. its a cruel fate to suddenly realize your love for a person has turned into shackles that will have an insane and astronomical price for breaking free of them. every relationship not matter how different they start off no mater the difference in person or personality it always ALWAYS end up going down that same road of obligatory hell.......i just think any long term relationship is worth it.

I'm 23 years old, I meet with Rollo's books when I was in college. It's about 2 years ago. What that I understand from life with knowing the red pill mindset. You never own anything from life. You just rent it from life. İf you have a nice wife, or a good marriage. Basically you don't own that, you just rent it if you do not pay the price you gonna lose it. So if you want a solid marriage, find out the requirements and meet that requirements(having a solid frame) every single day, otherwise you gonna lose it. Like if you have rent a house and pay for ten years and you don't pay for 3 months the owner of house gonna kick you out.
28 yo here and it took me a while to figure it out. You need to be willing to put up some work in order to keep these things (like you said, paying the rent). Right now TBH i'm not willing to pay it (I ended my last LTS recently because I didn't wanted to keep squeezing in order to get the juice).
Which means I don't need to be looking for a woman to form a long term bond, because I don't want to spend that much time and effort attending the relationship. Maybe once I improved myself enough I wouldn't mind putting in the effort, but that's not me now.
If your frame isn't looking good (my frame kinda sucks right now), then the LTS should be avoided.

Not feeding them is a good idea. They have been getting "super sized" as of late. Even so, buying them anything will make them "feel" entitled to it, expect it, and then take it for granted and take you for granted. So money wise, you are giving very little resources. How many guys saying "don't" haven't ever actually been married? It's alot easier to say no once you've gone through it. Your experience, though valid, will be largely foreign to a 20 something who hasn't been through a divorce.
I've been married. She was would have walked on hot coals for me. I divorced her anyways. It cost me some money to get out, but I didn't get raped in the divorce. Life is better now. My advice, don't get married.

Richard and Rollo. Excellent Podcast. This was the mistake I made. My soon to be ex (3.5 years of marriage) was the worst sexually incompatible partner I ever had. She played me from the outset. On honeymoon and our wedding night there was no sex. I knew the relationship was doomed..! She cheated on me with her ex boyfriend. A man of much lower calibre than myself. She is now expecting a large settlement from me for little or no financial contribution. Sexual compatibility and financial responsibility are the 2 most important components to give an LTR a chance of survival. There are of course other factors as you have rightly mentioned. I wish you would talk about households with poor father figures. That leads to a few things worth talking about. I had a father who was a miserable alcoholic bully.
I think the premise of alpha is that it's innate and cannot be acquired. You are either alpha or you are not. The focus should be to add value to yourself vs. trying to be something you are not wired to be. If a guy is feminized he might work better with a masculine woman, and being that there are a lot of them, it isn't necessarily a bad thing. A relationship is a compliment and if you are more compatible with a masculine female so be it. That relationship might look different than the ones espoused in redpill, but if you have an ability to communicate and engineer, than create a relationship that serves you. That is the beauty of living in this day and age.

This is a good thing he is doing none the less. I mean, this guy has a different perspective than Richard for the time being because he is married, and Richard is divorced, yet they both agree on the fundamentals. They are spreading their awareness to help men out. That is a good thing. There is hope.

In my experience you can substitute economics with frame. The woman essentially is stepping in your economic zone/frame. She has to be a fit for your system. If your system is equal or a downgrade she'll get bored and walk.

You gotta do a vid about Alpha, Beta, Sigma, Omega males. There needs to be more clarity. Because it seems like an Alpha is someone who takes responsibility for themselves and Beta is not. But that's very vague and confusing because you're defining terms differently than common usage. There are other contributing members of the tribe than just the tribal leader. So you're limiting your audience and confusing the rest of the males out there who might benefit but don't identify with the word Alpha.

Everytime I hear "Alpha" and "Beta" male, I lose a little more interest in the red pill. Really, it's just an echo chamber theory with no foundation.
I think we should try to be self actualised with strong, well thought out principles and a philosophy of life that suits our needs.
So don't just defer to authors and "community leaders" but read some philosophy, try their ideas against what you want to achieve in life and develop a mode of being that results in good in the world and for yourself,
