Great explaining of errors people make. Especially why the ball should not be before the left foot, because it is so difficult te hit the ball right, it is problaby that yoy make some mistakes. i’ve written down all the DON’T’s to avoid hitying the ball to the ground.. Thnx thnx.
Mark, like this - I'm trying hard to stop my horrible driver fade. On a separate point, do you have a session covering hooking of iron shots. I have a reasonable backswing but poor hip turn and I find that when I do hit a lovely crisp 7 iron iit goes 30 yards further but tends to go 25 degrees left. As I strike the ball everything feels good until I look and see its gone left. My usual irons are straight to slight fade so I don't know why my best shots go left.? Cheers
The static frozen over the ball is 100% me just had a driver fit and the fitter was talking to me so much about releasing tension in my swing. I defs need to work on this moving with my feet
Most instructors emphasise the need to be upper body tilted to the right for driver setup to promote upward strike. You dont mention it. Also hard to have most pressure left while tilted right.
Tilting right can increase pressure left if you think about it. You have one hand lower than the other on the club, let that promote the gentle tilt you are referring to. 👍
One of the stupidest thing I've seen a golf teacher say....was to tee up your ball higher....if you're using a 9 degree loft club...rather than a 10.5 or so. I just laughed at the stupidity of it....and told him that the swing is the same for any driver, regardless of loft. Loft is a choice...but does not equate to having a different setup as compensation...lol.
Some old geezers, former tennis players manage the all the way forward ball position, couse they truly drive their legs as they’ve been used to for 40 odd years in tennis.
I have played for 20 + years and got to a 10 handicap. I have tried everything dozens of times and can still not get the ball to launch higher. Or distance.
Is the first one true? Only in my experience most weekend warriors peg it down too low (scared of roofing it) and have the ball too far back. The result from this is a weak drives with spin and curvature.

I have definitely seen each of these stances. Just love how each are dissected to understand what they’re really doing! Thanks Mark!

It looks like you have a very weak grip on both hands. Can you please go into grip differences with driver?

Have you tried a different loft on the driver?
@@thomasmichael6509 many times. I have tried everything more than I can count.
hi mark, what tracer program/app are you using?

It’s been my experience that Mark doesn’t just make it up on the spot. He actually tests thing’s before dishing the info.
@@allenwelden7099 it’s also been my experience that you’re a numpty.
where's the auto flex!?
I've been wondering that myself?!
Idk how you been watching me hit drives from England but quit creepin
At some point in my 18 months of golf, I've been all of these at one point...and still obviously can't hit a consistent drive
"The last one will shock you" should have put that in the thumbnail
I know when I get the ball too far forward I pull hook it off the planet !!!
