+somacruzfirm Thanks, indeed my idea started as a quick game with circle of the moon type graphics, because I wanted it to be simple, but not 8-bit. Though it got a bit out of hand eventually and some things look better than that. I won't be updating the graphics though, as the game was planned to have the outlines and pixelated look. Though I will improve everything for a planned sequel, I made some test sprites based on the style of Order of Ecclesia. Also the game would be akin to a metroidvania.

Nkn lel hitlah !! but they look nice Btw just another suggestion, the interface doesnt need to be so big, the more we can see the enviroment, the better (even in DoS it was quite big compared to others) keeping it like OoE or SotN is good enough, even the vertical style of RoB was really nice with the details on the skulls wrapping around bosses life bar
hooooly shit! this looks even better than many castlevania games! i cant believe u made this in gamemaker.. i thought that program was limited and kinda weak. how much time did it take u to learn and do all this i wonder
+heyjeySigma well, the first thing i did was the character walking and then stopping. That took about 2 days. But in about 2 months I was able to build whole levels and new things came up every now and then. The hardest part was the idea on how to stop time with the stopwatch, but once i thought about it, it ran on the first try
+Nkn that's really impressive work. yesterday i started Clickteam fusion (another game maker) but im having trouble making some enemies appear and the auto-scrolling does NOT work after a dozen tries (i followed guides and stuff but nope) so frustrating. I also played your game, the dialogue is so random and hilarious. you have great humor.. it genuinely made me laugh (stuff about garlic, bats being scary, and the MC being agnostic etc lol)
ContraVainia? LOL is it really a two player game? if so that would be EPIC, two player co-op would really be a game changer for a Castlevainia series game.

Milan Malfait Bloodstained is not fan made :/ It's being done by Koji Igarashi himself. It's going to be a spiritual successor to Castlevania.
