I too saw these with the Black Angels, in Bristol last night, hadn't heard of them before. Blistering hits the mark. Blew the Black Angels into mediocrity (lazy performance IMHO). All three of them totally awesome. The whole set was 100% engaging, easily the best live band of the year for me, can't wait to see them again.
Chris Wilkinson I was also there and never heard of them until last night. I left with their four albums and a nice chat with the drummer who was by the merch tables drinking Red Stripe. They were phenomenal.
They blew my mind the first time I saw them. And have twice since. Great band. I try to catch them every time they play in my town.
Saw them in Berlin, they blew the Black Angels off the stage 💪😁✌️
You gotta understand that they are to different types of bands. The Black Angels have never been ones to be crazy onstage like at all.
