I always pull through parking, when it's safe ( but I see many people don't do that) It's very convenient & safe! But I didn't see the sign" No pull-through parking " before, now I know & will pay attention! Thank you so much!
I’ve just started how to drive, I’m 18 years old and just did my driving lesson, and there are many different things that you break down really well as a new driver. Thank you🙏🏼
I am learning to reverse Park and drive with a driving simulator game. I found it easier , now I don't confuse anymore the left and the right when backing up 😂
... I never knew this was even a thing until i got an e-mail about it from someone. Parking is parking. I've always reversed in (or parallel parked) as its easier to see the rear edges of my car. And find it a bit more hope and pray if i go forward into a spot especially if coming in at an angle (also i don't have forward parking sensors so hard to know the distances of the front of the car and other things). Pull through parking just sounds like a way of correcting the parking of the car via another parking spot. Which seems fine to me as long as its not a busy car park and you can do that. It almost seems like an automatic thing. Obviously it can't be illegal. how would you enforce such a rule?!? It legal up until you crash into another car i suppose but then that's probably negligence/bad driving then "pull through parking".
This used to be an illegal maneuver along with backing into a parking space in NJ resulting in being ticketed. It still might be and may be in certain other states.
It does vary by state, and can even vary by city, but in most locations and where it's not specifically posted that it's prohibited, it's okay to do it. But, there's always a safety concern that goes along with it...if other drivers can't see you as you're pulling through the parking spot, then someone could try to pull into the same spot from the front and that could result in a collision. You have to pull through slowly, and be ready to stop quickly if someone else starts to pull into the space at the same time you are.
your videos are amazing and very informative! I have trouble getting out of my apartment complex when I need to turn left with so much traffic it is almost impossible to turn that way when i definitely need to! in what way could i make that left turn instead of just turning right and doing a u-turn at the next stop. i’ve seen people judge while turning left by checking both sides of traffic but it’s hard to judge. anyways thanks a lot !
Those situations you usually have to end up blocking traffic coming from left to go the direction you want. It will piss people off but nothing you can do. Otherwise it will be impossible for you to get out. Usually you rely on someone coming on the right to notice that your coming in fast, and blocking the other traffic and slowing down.
Yes, that's always a good idea, as it's another way to draw attention to what you're doing. The sooner other drivers recognize that you're moving the better.

I do it all the time too, whenever I can! Works for me, and I do my best to do it safely. And thank you for taking the time to watch.
@@HowSkills the same here! Yeah, looking forward to new videos!

That can actually really help you to learn the concepts involved. Way to go!

I wish we had better public transportation. It would be much safer
I definitely agree with you on that. I hope that begins to change.
I passed my test today so thank you for your helpful videos 👏

Make sure to keep your foot on the brake when driving through a parking spot

Should you turn on your signals when pulling out the parking lot?

If there is a curb, don't do Pull-through parking
For sure!
The most dangerous thing about backing up...is backing up.
