Amazing! Amanda - so helpful 😃Your videos are very informative and easy to understand. I have the Revlon hot brush - used to love using it with my bio hair! Have a lovely day! 🌸💮🌸
Bless your heart. Glad you made this, it’s very helpful. I love how heat friendly wigs look brand new. Love that they have more vibrant colors and are not shiny. Now I won’t be so afraid of them. Regular synthetic has drawbacks also. Human hair is the best but so expensive.
Thank you so much for this video. You have taught me how to take care of my HF wigs finally!’ I used to just throw them out usually within a month 😮 so can’t thank you enough
Can you use hot tools to direct hair forward to cut bangs? Also, could you mention certain wigs that would allow you to cut bangs? Thanks for your videos, Amanda
You bet you can! You can use heat however you’d like. ❤ as long as you don’t exceed 350 Fahrenheit. Most wigs you can cut bangs into! but it’s easier when they have a lace front or monofilament top❤
Do you need the silicone I saw recommended on other videos on HD fibres? Additionally I never thought I could use my hot brush! I was so stuck on the wide tooth comb thing I thought that was all you could use! I do steam, but wasnt using a fine tooth comb. duh. Just did that tonight and what a difference. I actually bought a second topper as I thought I had ruined my first one - when I hadnt lol.
Thank you so much!! How long/ how many wears would you say you can get out of a heat friendly wigs if you maintain them Iike you showed? Im very new to the wig world and want to learn. ❤
Hey! It depends on the length and style. Long, straight HD fibers I will use heat on about every 2-3 wears. Before I take it off, I’ll just go through with heat for 2 mins. Super easy. Above the shoulder straight or curly ones you don’t need heat nearly as often. Maybe every few weeks.
@@chiquelwigs : Thank you for your prompt response!! About how long is the lifespan of a heat friendly wig if you upkeep it like you showed in this video? What I mean is, about how long until you need to purchase a new wig altogether?
I got a topper on line. Not sure about the color or size. After watching your size video I still forgot to measure. I didn't spend much. So I'll see if I can even do this.
Aw haha. I’m sure you’ll do great. I suggest doing some testing on an older wig or in an inconspicuous spot like the nape of the neck. ❤ It definitely took me some practice. 🥰
Thank you! OK, so I have those 3 tools, but they don’t work in my hands! LOL - got a few ideas of what to do differently. Do you always style your wigs on your head? I was trying to use my styrofoam head and no clamp😂. Disaster!
😮 that curl! Wow thanks for this! Clearly I have been doing it wrong! You are awesome Amanda! Gonna work on my wavy day after I wash her! ❤
Awesome! So glad this helps!
Will give it a try
Awesome! Let me know how it goes!

How can you tell if the wig is synthetic or heat friendly if when you purchase the wig it’s not mentioned?

When applying heat do you always wash first? Or does that not matter too much?
@@shanhare76 you don’t have to wash it first.
