If you like The Virgin Suicides I HIGHLY recommend watching the movie! I was a little too young to really "get it" when it first came out (1999) but it changed me in a good way. Also, the "phone" in Persephone is pronounced "phoney", gotta love Greek names :D Happy reading!
Handmaid Tale is really good (but depressing), but my fav book written by Atwood is The Blind Assassin, maybe you can check it out. Flights is also great, but kinda complicated read (at least in polish, but it probably reads similarly in english), hope you'll enjoy it

currently reading cleopatatra and frankenstein, its not what i thought it was going to be but i am enjoying it! one to sit down and concentrate on. i read lessons in chemisty this year and it is SO amazing, for sure one of my favourite books of all time!! i also read the dreamland billionaire series recently, while i found they get kinda boring in the mid way i did enjoy them and the romance scenes didn't make me cringe like other books haha! the 3rd one was my favorite. defo going to check other some of the others in your tbr pile (after i have get through mine😅)💓
i LOVEE sayaka murata she is my absolute fav and i want to dissect her brain. if you enjoy convenience store woman, i highly recommend earthlings! but be careful of the TWs
