Why wasn't she sent to the ER?
If you want to incarcerate people then you are responsible for those PEOPLE. This is actually inhumane and the guards should be charged.

true story. I worked in a secure juvenile facility for 22 years and we've never done no shit like this. The calls went in to our director, the transport was approved and then, depending on the seriousness of the situation, either we transported or the paramedics were called. What the fuck is really good with this incident?

This just breaks my heart. This young woman was pleading and asking for help and the Correctional Officers didn’t do a damn thing to assist her. I used to work for a county jail as a RN and a private federal facility as the medical department director, and this was the culture in both facilities I worked at. It’s despicable!

I am an RN however you dont need to be a healthcare professional. This is disgusting and I hold the guards and nurses accountable. Obviously, if someone is vomiting they will bevome dehydrated and die if it continues. Im not talking about the alleged homicide. A guard should have reported the symptoms and a nurse shpuld have followed up with vital signs, assessment ,etc. Where is the documentation from the nurses. Interrogate the nurses and if at fault sue and take those licenses ASAP. A deep dive needs to be conducted. Why am I just now hearing about this. I am upset and so sorry for loved ones.

So sad. I used to be a jailer and it makes me sad and disgusted. All those jailers should be in prison! When we had sick inmates, whether we thought they were really having issues or not, we take them in. They get taken in asap! You don’t mess around with things like that! I hope this family has an attorney. They should look into telling their story not just on local news, but national news as well. Who ever oversee that jail director or chief needs to be held accountable. This is a big case, lawsuit and they all needs to be charged and arrested including the inmate(s).
