After I saw the vid the first time, I went and bought the kit and led unit. The video is great and helping with the hard steps of the build. This is way better than the instruction manual, thank you.
Yeah, it took me a whole year from finishing the kit till the final upload. I grew tired at some point and didn't touch the editing for months, and the whole pandemic added to the mix. When it was hitting our hospital the worst I had to work 12-15hrs daily, 6 days a week, we only had Sunday free... Kit assembly took almost 3 months because of it.
@@labombaboy9433 I didn't have the needed tools back then, and it was like my 4th project, or something. Now I'm using Gunprimer Riser. I tried to hide nubs with gundam markers.
I am sad that the Banshee doesn't come with the rotary guns that the Unicorn comes with. They're much cooler than the claw (even if the claw is pretty cool).
So I wanted to know about something: At the head build, I did see that you applied the metallic foil stickers for both the Destroy Mode eyes and Unicorn Visor, do they illuminate as much when they're applied on the back to provide more as a filter to let the LED's bleed into the eyes more vibrantly? And by the way, excellent pacing, even if it's a bit dragged, but it's the point of showing how each part of the entire kit is built under a complex structure, pretty much none of any other channels had any distinct form like this, and it's great to see something that is both instructional and both informative with how all of it goes until the end
Not sure, tbh. I didn't try without them, in any of the Unicorn molds, but I guess its mostly for bleeding, there are more foils in the arms and shoulders for the same purpose. Heck, even PG Unleashed has stickers for the eyes. And thx for the kind words.
I'm sure you can google the charts, but usually whatever pack you are buying its noted what colors its having. In this case I was leading myself by the eyes only. I used Gunmetal from the basic set, for the weapons and fingers, seemed like a great match, especially for the weapons. The armor itself is navi blue, but I didn't have that color at the time so I used grey from the Gundam Seed set, the dots weren't too big and it was important for me that the light nubs don't stick out too much. Nowadays I'm simply using Gunprimer Riser to remove the nubs.
31:30 there, when I assemble them is still strong attach to each other, but when I put all parts together especially for installing the LED, I found out that this part can’t attach to each other anymore, is this normal?
It was my first time doing it, some bits are tough to pull, plus insecurity over stripping off waterslides... I never touched it again, its still in the destroy mode.
@@UsagiRei69 yeah, there's an instruction with it that explains how to upgrade, but I never bothered to study it in detail. Its in the basement now in the box, I'm sure you can find scans online and see it for yourself if unsure about it.
