This '91 Dolphins team is very similar-statistically speaking-to the the '91 Bills team that was in the Super Bowl. The Dolphins were OFFICIALLY Ranked a little better on Defense but the Bills gave up 2 fewer points per game on average. The Bills won both Reg. Season games in '91.Jim Kelly had a slightly better year than Dan Marino.
The Bills had a balanced offense as they were Ranked 5th in Pass Attempts and 5th in Rushing Attempts. The Dolphins on the other hand were Ranked 2nd in Pass Attempts but only 25th in Rushing Attempts.

@@Fireyninjadog Good points. Two of those close LOSSES (Lions and Oilers) ended 17-13 and Marino led his offense to only 3 points in each of those losses in the 2nd half. Not much from the offense. In the 3 point loss to the Jets it was O'Brien besting Marino again as he did in a majority of their matchups.
