Of all the Create Mod modpacks I've played Star Technology offers a most addicting gameplay loop! Combining Skyblock, Gregtech, and Create Mod is a match made in ADHD heaven. We'll be inventing insane machines in order to progress through the tiers of circuits and tech that this pack has to offer! In addition to Create and Gregtech we get to play with the Thermal Series, Ex Nihilo, and so much more! Come join the automation, insanity, and fun as I play through Star Technology one of the first modern Gregtech packs! It's no Minecraft 1.21 but it sure will be a Tricky Trial ;)

It also gives nomifactory vibes with the void dimension. Btw the amount of chemicals is a gregtech thing.

I'm playing this modpack right now after I watched your first video on it. I was proud after I made my first steel ingot after 15 hours of grinding. I am no longer proud and am in immense pain knowing I'm nowhere close to even getting mid way through early game. But my ADHD will not let me give up and the videos definitely give me a reason to keep playing!
Honestly same but his videos make my brain go brrrr and for some reason remind me of older minecraft RUclipsrs in a vague way that still gives me a metric fuck ton of dopamine

Pro tip, make a gregtech axe when farming trees manually. They have innate tree felling. Found this out with a wrought iron axe on super pines

Maybe not important for this playthrough anymore but for anyone who's going through it, there's a block called the inventory proxy, and you can place it on the face of a primitive blast furnace to have early steel automation, as it lets you both input and pull items from it
To all new veiwers NO Dejojo didnt increase his video soeed to 1.5x that is just him exited and geeking out and ADHDing out on this Mod. He is super smart and has knowledge exploding out if his head. If you need to slow the video speed down to like 80%. Haha. Great video DejojotheADHD.

also i love to play the modpack, doing it slowly and not really well and then watch your videos where you do it the intended way...
also the oxygen line is usually crushing, centrifuging and then electrolyzing glass, the most involved part of which is making the glass

Can you not do the Create thing of cobble generator -> mill/crushing wheels -> crushing wheels -> bulk blasting?

@@TrixterTheFemboy By default it's something like crushed sand and a small pile of flint dust mixed together to make Glass dust, and then you alloy smelt that into a block
started playing this cuz of you. now take responsibility and provide me with step by step instructions on how to play.
Here is a warning DO NOT use create: New Age wires they cause lag and sometimes even crashes and/or world lost, Instead use create: crafts and additions wires

A Tip for you, if you have extra copper, make it into wires using the wiremill. If you think you have enough just remember, you do not.
It may not be create, but pipez pipes are quite efficient and don’t need su
Nice video. While the auto sieve is far away, you can actually use deployers to sieve for you. Especially good if you make a 5v5 of sieves and have the deployer hit the center sieve. Saves alot of time manually sieving in the early game. Also get comfortable with laser io, it's the cheapest and best item logistics mod in the pack 👍
I could NEVER do a pack like this. Brain too smooth. But watching you put all the puzzle pieces together and make it seem so fun has me itching to watch the rest of the series! Keep it up!
Trust me its way more fun doing it yourself. This dude speeds trough it like its nothing but there is s quest system that is super fun!

@@Comedyshortsgamer12 I try to do the simpler packs with easy recipes and resource generation. The embedded crafting recipes drive me bonkers.

It's funny to look at Gregtech and recognize that it was the result of someone looking at all the best Minecraft Tech mods - Create, IndustrialCraft2, Ex Nihilo - and saying, "needs more autism." I would have assumed it was already at peak autism. But somehow, they managed to take it a level beyond. These Gregtech recipes are literally more convoluted than Factorio, which I didn't even think was possible! So props to you for sticking with it. I probably wouldn't have the patience for it. But I'm sure that if this is the kind of gameplay loop you like, it's gotta scratch that itch like NOTHING else. 🙂
GT is a lot older then Create and I think older then Ex Nihilo, but yea, it’s known as one of the hardest mods for a reason xD
Love these videos! I think it would be cool to see them be a little longer and get a little bit more detail about all the boring stuff tho, I really like seeing what everything does. Amazing work though!

Amazing serie
I recomend making the wireless terminal for your storage system. It may sound like a waste of time, but extra 16 block range on top of micro crafting makes it super useful.
Edit: also please use pipes from pipez mod. They should be cheap by this point and they are super convenient for transporting items, fluids energy and gases

I saw the previous video and downloaded the modpack can confirm w modpack
Just saying, you can make hydrogen and oxygen by electrolyzing normal water. Takes forever, but no kinetic ore factory needed. Also, the macerator with the centrifuge can get you the salt when used in combination with the salt ore, so you still don't actually need the kinetic ore factory, and you could have saved all that steel.

I'm pretty sure the EU as energy units comes from a time before FE existed. I'm pretty sure gt shared eu with industrialcraft and buildcraft, 2 titans of technical modding from back in the day, though don't quote me on that specifically
Yes. EU was the energy unit for industrialcraft2 and is why gregtech uses EU as it started out as an addon to ic2. Buildcraft used a predecessor to rf called mj (minecraft joules) but this was deprecated when the addon thermal expansion went solo and made a new standard energy unit aka redstone flux/rf
EUs (Electrical Units) even existed before RF (Redstone Flux) which was the old version of FE (Forge Energy) that was used by Thermal Foundation, EnderIO and Mekanism for example. EUs were brought by one of the first technology mods which was Industrial Craft 2, And I believe it was also contemporary to MJs (MegaJoules) from Buildcraft
And now we have SUs ( -amogus- Stress Units)... that's a lot of different energy units

in your last episode at about 11:52, what mod or keybind was that that you used to multiplace blocks?
You didn't need the electric-kinetic sieve for cobalt dust. Sifting gravel with string mesh for copper, hammering it into impure dust, then centrifuging it gives you a roughly 10% chance at cobalt.
I mean it's not like you wont use the EKS, but since the pack is in early stages of development it can be a good idea to double check recipes and see if there are methods to get the things you need the pack may have overlooked
Ive played modded for a long time now, im good with most mainstream mods including create but despite the 100s of mods ive learnt in their entirety greg tech scares me and always will... One day... One day ill face greg and his tech...
For cobalt just get some crushed copper, use a gregtech hammer in a crafting grid with the crushed copper, and then centrifuge it.
Or you can macerate it before you centrifuge it for higher yields.

For some reason, my energy converter isn't taking power from anything, there is a slight difference in texture as the front face is red instead of green
Right click is with a soft hammer to change it to FE into EU mode
This modpack has forgiving void in it. Falling into the void doesn't mean death.

4:58 I have this exact setup; wiremill next to the converter connected via 2x soularium wires, and it’s not working. The converter is full of energy, but it’s not going through the wires. Help me please

I enjoyed the first part, loaded up the modpack, dude its so complicated not knowing gregtexh or create, also damn building that coke oven took so fkn long (idk i just cant get to enough cobble and neither my automatic farm nor the vanolla generator are fast enough xd how much time r u spending on grinding, im like 3-5h in just for building my coke oven
ngl, the coke oven was one of the last ULV multiblocks I built, and I only made it then because I needed treated wood.

You can electrolyze salt water or steam to create oxygen, and I believe FeCl3 is easier to make?

stupid question but how did you place down multiple block at once? like at 2:26, what did you use for that?
Ok I figured it out. you hold down Left Alt to bring up a building menu then select what style of placement you want, so like if you want to make floors, walls, circles, things like that. Then to reset it back to vanilla placing just pick the disable one. Hope I could help those who struggled with wandering about this like I did.
actually you dont need to always use tape in multiblocks you can use tools to fix maintenance problems

Yeah, right around here is where I decided I was to dumb for this modpack, lol. I'm going back to magic-based packs, since Minecraft is a world where actual magic is easier than college-level electrical engineering.

I have a quite big problem. The electricity in gregtech does not work for me. I made a stirling dynamo, although I powered it with a lv 4a energy converter (which looks different than the one in the video, but the name is the same and I can't find another similar one to the video) and it doesn't work from either side. So I went to creative mode world and did the same thing as in the video and that didn't work either. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
And if it is important I'm on Star Technology-BETA 10 HOTFIX 4 modpack version.
