Austria Hungary? Why? What did Gary do? Well there we go, I promised myself that I would have this upload schedule for the first week after dlc released. Can I recommend doing this? No, it's just not the best way to make videos. Less time to think through ideas, less time to put them together and so on. But it's good that I did it, it's something that I have thought about for a very long time.
Good on you for keeping it! Its always great to see a video from you :) On topic- I very much like the dlc - it "seems" that this one is a bit better reviewed as well compared to prior lol
The point you raise about how you wish it were more like the Polish Habsburg path is interesting because the new Austrian path to reform the austro-hungarian empire is actually like the Polish path. You need to build up monarchist support by decision before you can get them as a puppet which is more engaging and takes some player engagement. I don't know why they chose to handle Hungary any different though
Because the focus tree are made by different people I think, hence the reason why they are so different from one another in their mechanics (like sometimes you need to click on the map to influence countries, sometimes it’s in the decision tabs, sometimes it’s just rng)
You missed the most important focus, the joint focuses, that's where you get the most cheated bonuses, and you don't have to investigate the focuses if not the puppets will do it for you.
There wasn't much to say on them, they help you snowball and you don't have to do much to achieve that. And they weren't apart of the original ah tree, there's was alot to cover and something had to be left behind. Maybe next time.
I think the Austrian path for reforming Austria-Hungary is actually stronger because you can get a whole bunch of countries into the Habsburg alliance for free and once you get to the bottom of the shared focus tree you can just annex them. Plus Austria gets cores on all German states by decision through their focus tree
The little entente existed exactly to prevent the return of Habsburg monachy. It's so stupid how easy this still is. Creating Austria-Hungary shouldn't be possible without a hard war.
A few days ago I tried to play with my friend but we didn't have the latest DLC's I went German Empire and couldn't do "tend to the future of Germany" so I had an unavoidable silesian uprising His "protect czechoslovakia" focus was automatically bypassed once he cored austria by the "restoration of austria-hungary" focus The DLC seems good but it made playing without it on what was already there *awful*
Austria hungary from austrian focus tree is the thing you want you can choose to fully annex countries or just sub them and you need to do few political decisions to make the demand. (1 decision is 50pp then it shows how likely will they accept)
3:36 so true, why hasn’t anyone talked about this? I literally watched hollowbeing’s video on the new DLC and it’s SOOO easy, you unironically puppet 5(including romania and poland) countries that could easily beat you
@@BubblesZest it would have been way cooler if you had to make decisions to maybe propose industrial investments, military cooperation and political appeasement and THEN you get to puppet them or not
Why are you don't compelete Ausftro-Hungarian joint tree?( It can give you and your imperial puppets (Montenegro, Albania, Silesia, Austria, Hungary etc) a bunch of good bonuses
You only get cores on Galicia if Poland says yes. As for Silesia, you have to do it while Bohemia is still your puppet so that they get cores on Silesia and then you get those cores when you integrate them.

For variety. Because two countries doing it the exact same way both times would be kind of boring :/.

My dislike of Austria Hungary is all personal and has nothing to do with their focus tree or portrait in HOI4
Serbian/Czech/Slovak/Hungarian/Romanian/Croatian/Polish/Bosnian/Italian/Ukranian/Slovene spotted!! ‼️🚨‼️
@@MortiferaMortinne and yet the region was better Off than what came afterwards... Somehow....

True, it was multiethnic which never works

Fr those focuses are amazing

What really? Why become Austria-hungary core on all german lands?

PDX patched both those things one or two days ago in the latest patch
Why you and ISP always upload literally at the same time
it is ISP secret channel with an ai voiceover
@azalon2752 i order an approvement from one of them right now!
This must be the Rat’s secret channel
You're my favourite resident in all of Essex. Thank you so much for this video...
When I played this path, I didn’t even have diplo pressure, NAP and i forgot to improve relations, I just Austrias divisions and the Czechs accepted
Is Belgian EU the new Austria Hungary?
It can feel that way yeah

Much more fun to take over all the lands needed to form a new country than being railroaded through a focus tree.
Man imagine playing austria u have to get enough influence for those former country just to see Hungary just click the focus and get them for free
No core
I'd be very interested in you comparing this path against the Austrian AH paths (Puppeting and Annexation).

Asking nicely continues to be Hoi4's most overpowered strat.

You forgot about the joint focus tree its actually really good + Austria does alot of those focuses!
wait what, what focustree is this? I have WAY more in the political area???
Did Paradox understand that players dislike RNG? Yes and no.
i think you should try the austrian side, i think you will like it
What about doing it as the Austrians?
Why are you don't compelete Ausftro-Hungarian joint tree?(

Yeah it can, just didn't fit into this video scope. If anything me winning against Germany without it perfectly underlines that.
u used to be able to invade to get wareconomy in 37 but thats ruined now
What templates did you use?
9/1 art support
@BubblesZest cool, l'm surpirsed that beat germany
No? You still can't core Galicia(southern Polend and a small part of Romania)
No it’s not
It still sucks
you can also form EU with that
No cores on Silesia and Galicia is lame
You only get cores on Galicia if Poland says yes. As for Silesia, you have to do it while Bohemia is still your puppet so that they get cores on Silesia and then you get those cores when you integrate them.
@ that’s dumb
Do you play Garry's mod?
Try getting slovakia as greater hungary, wait now germany stole slovakia and made it a puppet without any reason ^^
Had to waste 3000 ws to reannex my puppets land because the croatia and general government where spawned. Thanks paradox
