I already ave many more lore videos in the works, and I can't wait to share them with you! :D As I am not an artist and usually busy working on other stuff whilst or college, drawing this took me a month to do. I only did this as a one-off because I didn't want to use irrelevant gameplay, so drawing was my only option for visualising the story of the Jade Rabbit. But, somewhere along the line, something happened to the game. whether it was Activision's fault (it most likely was honestly. They've done this many times in the past, and I resent them for what they do) or not is irrelevant. All that matters is that Bungie makes the most of the situation and keeps Destiny alive.

What I'm saying is that they could have gotten money from investments or hell possibly even the freaking community if they couldn't afford to make the game on their own, and YES they could have gotten by with a single freaking Twitter post stating some basic things about what the game actually was and they would have made sales equivalent to Halo, again. They did something without knowing (or most likely caring, because I sincerely doubt anyone could be so stupid as to not see what Activision does to games) that it Greedivision would make them change things to make it more like CoD or to ruin the game for the sake of milking the morons that fall for it for cash.
Loved the video, but there was one thing missing about the jade rabbit lore... I just did a report on this legend at school as there are a couple things wrong that did not happen. First off the children came to earth because they grew bored taking turns being the son. As they rained unintentional fiery hell upon the earth their father, sent yi the archer (a small/minor god) to shoot near the sons to scare them away. (the father could not bare to harm his children.) As when Yi finally came down from the heavens he forgot everything the father told him so he began shooting the sons one by one. until eventually he came down to his last arrow he shot it. Thankfully the father foreseeing this happining sent one of his emissaries down to steel the last arrow. Legend has it that, the last son that remained is our son today! Btw regardless love the channel and all the lore. (You and Sir Wallen are my favorites.)
When I got the Jade Rabbit, I knew it would be a good weapon; slow but potent. After seeing your lore and well made designs to explain it, I am glad that I kept it. Thanks for telling us the Tall Tale lore of this magnificent weapon.
I would assume the jade rabbit is brought up in destiny on the moon is because the Chinese had built the moon base hinted at by the characters seen throughout the area

Well apparently we have a different version of this story (I came from China and this is what I heard when I was a kid): Hou'yi shot down the Suns and saved people from the biting world, so the emperor rewards him with the immortal pill, but it's only for one person, and Hou'yi doesn't want to left his wife Chang'e, so he didn't eat it. Then one day when Hou'yi was out hunting, a bad guy (forget his name) came and threatening Chang'e to give him the pill or he will kill her. Chang'e do not want the pill left in bad guy's hand, so she swallowed the pill herself, and raised to the moon.
After that Hou'yi and Chang'e were separated forever, but Hou'yi still loves Chang'e, so every year when the full moon was the brightest in the autumn, he will prepare the sweet deserts that Chang'e loves as offerings, and that's one of the origins of the moon cake and mid-autumn festival
I got the jade rabbit through an exotic engram while replaying the regicide story mission. Best weapon ever. I always wanted either the zhalo or the jade rabbit. Now all I need is the zhalo.
Just curious, where did you learn Chinese? looks like you used pinyin for Chang'e & Hou yi's names, but but when you say Chang'e the 'ch' is soft, so I was curious if it was regional, or, if you aren't a native speaker, if your learning was influenced by wade-giles

Is this true? Is Eris Morn blind and is this the reason why she wears that mask with the three eyes similar to the Mask of The Third Man?
