Yay!! I do think some materials are more fragile than others (glass is likely way more fragile), but you’ve just got to make sure all products are surrounded and won’t move in transit ☺️ no matter what the material is!

Thanks for the packing insight, I was just on your website and I was wondering if the shipping cost was always the same at checkout or does it automatically adjust for distance/weight/or quantity of the order?
@@Magicguy33I do live shipping (I think it’s called live shipping?) where I weigh all my boxes and all my products ahead of time and put it in the system. When someone orders, the system automatically makes an assumption based on how much the order weighs. It’s usually pretty spot on! Someone will pay $17 to ship and I’ll pay $18 to ship as an example. I have done a flat fee of shipping in the past and it ALWAYS bit me in the butt, but I’m also not the best at math lol so I refused to try it again.
Where do you get you crinkle paper from and how much does it cost?

Pretty cool video! Question, you don’t use like thermal wrap in your shipping, how do you manage your candles to not melt during shipping? Thank you so much!!!
Correct, I don’t use thermal wrap! Unless the entire product is wrapped in it and there’s no room for heat getting in, it’s relatively useless. In the past, I’ve used thermal bags for each candle and put a pack of dry ice in it, but that became expensive quickly. I only ship out Monday-Wednesday in the summer so packages aren’t sitting in hot offices over the weekend, and I (usually) have a disclaimer pop-up on my website reminding customers to track their packages bc it’s too dang hot and they’ll likely melt it left in the heat. Thanks for the reminder I need to do that today! The rest is out of our hands, honestly. Which sucks to say, but is completely true because we can’t make magic happen 😓
Thank you very much I’m in the process of getting my website going. With your response I feel much more comfortable shipping out Monday-Wednesday as I agree we can only do so much! Something’s are just going to be part of the process of just everyday life and we have to be okay with that. Can’t wait for your next video’s to come?

@@laciej I am exploring options myself. Would the peanuts be cheaper? I know Alibaba sells the biodegradable peanuts for cheap. My problem is shipping here to Alaska. Your work is beautiful by the way
@@elianamckee thank you! Someone mentioned UHaul (I’m pretty sure) for really affordable packing peanuts and I’ve been meaning to look it up. I think shipping anything overseas just ends up making it so much more expensive! Which I understand but is also frustrating haha.
