Dubai is supposed to be the new KL because the buildings in KL including the Petronas Twin Towers and the KL Tower have existed for a long time when Dubai was still a desert..😅
Was there in April 2019. Always wanted to go back. Perhaps a short stay in November when i head to Thailand 🇹🇭. Kuala Lumpur 🇱🇷 definitely one of my favorite places to visit.
Malaysia is unique and special because they're diversity and convenient, located in the centre/middle of Asia.. Natural green with the oldest tropical rainforests and wildlife habitat and conservations. Bless with temperature average of 26°c to 30°c.. sunny throughout the year. Laid back and decent people, a melting pot of cultures and food/cuisines of eastern and western.. Cost of living is rather low/affordable with quality of life.. Safe and harmony people and country.. Malaysia is truly Asia 🇲🇾👍
in fact you may live with such little cost if be friend with locals. just go for any low cost apartment which near to MRT or LRT. many locals from other city bought apartment in KL just for personal use when come to KL.
6:44 Exactly! We have bought an apartment on the outskirts of the city (Mont Kiara) which is about 3800sqft in size. We are on the 34th floor and have the most outstanding panoramic view of the entire city! You can see all 4 towers. Petronas Twin Towers, KL Tower, TRX and Merdeka 118 very clearly. We bought the apartment for 3,500,000rm, which is about £600,000. That’s pretty insane. A £600,000 house in the UK are the common ground houses you see. That’s it. And If you wanted to rent, you can rent the same place for 14,000rm a month. That’s only £2,400 a month! 🤯 Living in the UK myself has shown the crazy contrast, and I wanted nothing but home again after spending 4 years there. Idk about you but KL is seriously a secret gem and a half.
Thanks for choosing Malaysia and just for you info, Malaysia has one of the best healthcare in the world.Healthcare is one of the popular reason for the the expat to choose Malaysia for retirement.

Hi Mike, thank you for sharing your video. I'm Korean Canadian and I was thinking hm where should I move to next? I've been to Dubai and lived there 3 years, I'm currently living in Seoul Korea which is a fabulous city but after spending 3 years here now I wanna move to somewhere else. Of course I'm not as rich as you are so I cannot afford 4k hotel, but just by spending 1.5k also gives you a great accommodation option so I'm seriously studying the city. And your video showed up and really triggered. Thanks :D
