TFDi Design MD-11 Swiss Air Manila to KAI TAK Hong Kong - Beyond ATC

  • Arrival into now defunct airport Hong Kong International Kai Tak in the Swiss Air MD-11 from TFDi Design. Landing was a little hard" -368 FPM 1.13 G.
    I was using Beyond ATC but I was so concentrated on approach I forgot to call "established on final" so I never got a landing clearance from ATC.

    Kai Tak was considered one of the most challenging airport to land, runway 13 so to say, where the approach is perpendicular to the runway, relying for the flashing lights and the checkerboard during landing. Excellent landing, though there's a glitch when callout was 10 yet its already touchdown. Not your fault😀❤💯

      Indeed, it is a great challenge to land at that airport and deserves a return visit. :)
      If I am not mistaken, I heard the radio altitude callouts need adjustments and will be fixed.
