@@maggiereneemusic While I am still hoping for you to further explore more Pentatonix. I think that there are a few more songs by Home Free that you need to react to. I would start with 'Ring of Fire', since you love bass voices. It has bass overload, because besides Tim, Avi from PTX guest features. Next would be their version of 'Mayday' by Cam, Tim will even fuller blow your mind. Lastly, for a completely different side, Rob and Austin killing it on the Boyz II Men classic 'End of the Road'. I still give Pentatonix the slightest of edges thanks to Kirstin and Mitch, but Home Free is a very close second.
@@jayholland2632 Yes, Home Free's "Mayday" would be a treat for you. They bring out the unexpected from each singer and blend it together beautifully; providing a fuller appreciation of their talent and just what these guys are capable of. I'd love to hear your take on that one.

Finally a real reaction to this song. Your breakdown was spot on and your reaction came thru real as F! I subscribed after.. can’t wait for more from you! ❤️
@@mettesrensen6116 This is a newer arrangement if that's the case. When they were first performing this song live, they needed the looper for more than that, because Austin was NOT doing harmonica at the time. But no complaints from me. I love it when they can find ways to make it work with even less gadgets.
I have not seen them live and don’t really like the youtube live videos, so what I am curious of; do they announce in the live shows that they are using the looping or is it just obvious?
Home Free: May Day (after watching this, you hear the Bass sing tenor, and the baritone sing bass), and Everybody Walkin This Land (because it's my favorite of theirs right now).
Actually really glad her initial research came up short. Otherwise, we wouldn't have seen her say "The man in the hat. Oh wait. They all have hats." That was hilarious.

Yep, they are country and do a lot of lighter or humorous songs. Check out their "Butts Medley." Oh yeah, they get really country singing "Elvira" with the Oak Ridge Boys.
you should hear homefrees "butts remix" next, of if you like the yodel sound, try their version of "all about the bass" but if its Tim (the bass guy) you want to showcase, listen to "mist mountains" its Tim with someone else, all cappella, but a lot of layering

This version shows off a huge amount of country sounds, and harmonies. I am taken back with how Home Free uses the similar but different tonality of their voices. They do so many things that are only in country music. Tight just plan tight.
This am was the first of your reviews I've found. I was impressed enough to comment but will make a point of finding the Pentatonics review and respond to it.
Austin is an amazing tenor. He's been trained in musical theater. Check out his solo "Bring Him Home" from the musical Los Miserables. It's beautiful. 💖
This is one of my favorite Home Free videos. Thanks so much for doing this reaction, I always learn new things watching your videos, and you make them so much fun!
I'm guessing you would like their cover 'Ring of Fire' with guest Avi. Also, there is a video out there of the beatboxer doing a drum solo at one of their concerts. In 'May Day', the bass singer moves it up about 4 octaves. He has a 5 octave rang.

They’ve said in some live shows Adam (beat boxer) will use a looper on some songs if one of the other guys cant duplicate the sound while he’s doing another part. Like the live version of this song Austin (first one singing) assists with the harmonica sounds.
Hahahaha you literally have THE BEST reaction imo 🤣🤣🤣 you are so hilarious girl 😂 "who told them to look at the camera that way? 😳" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 You have me in tears laughing over here hahah
I really enjoy your reviews. It's truly great to hear the emotional response to and your honest appreciation for artists of different genre for a classically trained opera singer.
How low can he go? Low. Real low. But if you liked this, you have got to check out a group called VoicePlay and their version of Oggie Boogie's Song from the Nightmare Before Christmas. It will floor you. I promise. :)
@@maggiereneemusic Geoff Castellucci is the bass for Voiceplay. He just released a cover of the Beatles song Black Bird that shows his vocal range. @@mettesrensen6116: The looper is used for a part of beatboxing, and for the repeated sounds Austin and Rob do, too.
@@HBKCommish I have seen them do it live when Austin joins Adam , it is out of this world amazing
Home Free: May Day (after watching this, you hear the Bass sing tenor, and the baritone sing bass), and Everybody Walkin This Land (because it's my favorite of theirs right now).
I listened to your recommendation! YAY!! Hope you will join me at my new Home Free Premiere tonight?
Loved your reaction, thank you and god bless you 🙏🙏🙏🇨🇦
Actually really glad her initial research came up short. Otherwise, we wouldn't have seen her say "The man in the hat. Oh wait. They all have hats." That was hilarious.
Omg, I totally feel the same way. Amazing voices and song!!!
Thank you for your comment. Will you be joining me for tomorrow's LIVE PTX reaction?
In the live version, Austin also does a harmonica part together with Adam. It's really cool.
Thanks for your comment. Did you like my reaction to Pentatonix?
Home Free “Crazy”!,, WOW. “Blue Ain’t Your Color”. 😁😄😃
Thank you for your comment. Did you like the new reaction video I just posted to Geoff? Also, hope to see you tomorrow on our live stream: www.twitch.tv/MaggieReneeMusic?
I adore the fact that the lovely maggie (a professional singer) reacts to (professionally) amateur singers. She is awesome. Thanks Maggie for doing this.
Thank you for your comment. Metal is next on my channel! 🤘 Set your reminders and 'ring the bell for notifications'! Will you be there tomorrow early in the chats for a fun metal premiere?
Yep, they are country and do a lot of lighter or humorous songs. Check out their "Butts Medley." Oh yeah, they get really country singing "Elvira" with the Oak Ridge Boys.
Oh the Butt Medley is SO MUCH FUN and HILARIOUS!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for your comment. Did you like the new reaction video to Brad Paisley I just posted?
you should hear homefrees "butts remix" next, of if you like the yodel sound, try their version of "all about the bass" but if its Tim (the bass guy) you want to showcase, listen to "mist mountains" its Tim with someone else, all cappella, but a lot of layering
Tim foust and Peter hollens
Misty Mountain
Third reaction gal got pregnant by Tim Foust! 😃

Great!😍

I absolutely LOVE watching your facial expressions when listening to this fabulous group. It truly gives me chills when other music professionals soulfully respond to performances.

@@maggiereneemusic your response to Hallelujah was very emotional for me. Music is like a heartbeat. It is my core and I can't live without it.
Hello GORGEOUS Lady! Nice reaction! When you tried to emulate the group members "come hither" look, that was pure gold! Great evaluation of their performance; Very informative!
LOL Did you also notice Bassist/Baritone Adam Chance's dirigido sound in the background through the first few minutes and at the end of the video? Stay safe & take care kind lady!

Thank you so much for your lovely comment. I appreciate it! 😀❤️
They used to do a harmonica duet in this song live in concert. Austin also does the harmonica.

Awesome Maggie, Big fan of these guys. My fav is a cover of John Mayer call In The Blood
Glad you liked it! Thank you!
The song was in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou". The gator at the end really fit with the music and setting.

Enjoyed your reaction and welcome to the Home Fries! 🐊
Glad you liked it! Thank you for your warm welcome and for watching my video until the end. I appreciate it. 😁💖🐊
This version shows off a huge amount of country sounds, and harmonies. I am taken back with how Home Free uses the similar but different tonality of their voices. They do so many things that are only in country music. Tight just plan tight.
Thank you for your suggestion. Did you also like my other reaction videos to Home Free and Pentatonix?
This am was the first of your reviews I've found. I was impressed enough to comment but will make a point of finding the Pentatonics review and respond to it.
Austin is an amazing tenor. He's been trained in musical theater. Check out his solo "Bring Him Home" from the musical Los Miserables. It's beautiful. 💖
Great! Thank you for your suggestion. 😁
This is one of my favorite Home Free videos. Thanks so much for doing this reaction, I always learn new things watching your videos, and you make them so much fun!
Glad you enjoyed it!
In my opinion this is the best group (country) out there today.
Thank you for your comment. Did you like the new reaction video to Brad Paisley I just posted?
I'm guessing you would like their cover 'Ring of Fire' with guest Avi.
Also, there is a video out there of the beatboxer doing a drum solo at one of their concerts.
In 'May Day', the bass singer moves it up about 4 octaves. He has a 5 octave rang.
I listened to your recommendation! 😍 Thank you!! I appreciate your support and hope that you will set your reminder and invite your friends to join me tomorrow morning for the Premiere of this reaction video to Home Free?

They’ve said in some live shows Adam (beat boxer) will use a looper on some songs if one of the other guys cant duplicate the sound while he’s doing another part. Like the live version of this song Austin (first one singing) assists with the harmonica sounds.
Thank you for your lovely comment. Hope you will join me at my new Home Free Premiere in 1 hour?
Hahahaha you literally have THE BEST reaction imo 🤣🤣🤣 you are so hilarious girl 😂 "who told them to look at the camera that way? 😳" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 You have me in tears laughing over here hahah
Haha they actually walked into a "dive bar"...you'll get it later. 😉
LOL! Glad you liked it! Thank you for your fun comment.😁
Not sure if you are talking about diver bar saints, or them being in a bar in champagne taste
Maggie gets all flustered with all the testosterone, and smolder is hilarious 🤣
First person to reference the soggy bottom boys version! Ha ha. Are used to love that song back in the day, like 18 years ago.
Glad you liked it! Thank you for your lovely comment, 😁
I really enjoy your reviews. It's truly great to hear the emotional response to and your honest appreciation for artists of different genre for a classically trained opera singer.
"you come to this video... there is an aligator sitting there..." this was the best line of all time! ROFL
In rock circles, we refer to the growl as "gravel" or "putting gravel in your voice"
Thanks for the info. Did you also like my reactions to other metal bands?
you need to do " Blue ain't your color" and "Elvira" they did Elvira with the original singers The Oak Ridge Boys.
Thank you for your suggestion. 😍
I loved watching your reaction to these awesome singers
So glad! 😀
I believe someone posted that Tim's range is A0 to A5? But he may have outgrown that again ;)
In some of there other videos he hits G1 and e1
He does go down to A0 in Home Free's cover of Sold, and but demonstrates a G0 as an intro into Your Man.... oh and that G0... it's done LIVE!
A0-G5
The man is a dragon in human form.
Tim himself said some time ago that his range was nearing 6 octaves already. He keeps working on his range.
How low can he go? Low. Real low. But if you liked this, you have got to check out a group called VoicePlay and their version of Oggie Boogie's Song from the Nightmare Before Christmas. It will floor you. I promise. :)
LOL! Thank you for your suggestion!😁
if you like cats the musical ... me not so much , they are a good ensemble tho
In the words of Austin lower than any of y'all can think lol
I watched a Vocal Coach react to the Oogie Boogie Song... and I swear she got pregnant at the low note.
@@maggiereneemusic Geoff Castellucci is the bass for Voiceplay. He just released a cover of the Beatles song Black Bird that shows his vocal range. He also does readings of The Night Before Christmas, The Raven, and The Tell-Tale Heart. The last two, by Edgar Allen Poe, may cause you to sleep a few nights with your eyes open.
Listen to "Elvira" that they did with the original singers, the Oakridge Boys.
Tim is the only one I've ever heard hit notes lower than Richard Sterban...and we know how low he can get.

That one is hilarious
This reaction is good enough to come back to over and over.
Soooo I have a bass singer that will definitely “shooketh” look up oogie boogie’s song by voiceplay. Geoff the bass.... wow
Funniest part is if you watch Geoff’s videos his natural voice is a low Baritone, not a bass. He just learned how to drop his voice into those low notes almost effortlessly. Geoff has an astonishing range though ranging from Alto 1 to below low bass.
I like Geoff and Voice Play, and Home Free and Pentatonix as well
Tim still rules the bass
She definitely needs to react to oogie boogie!
This
Please, React the peter hollens feat tim foust- misty mountain, is very incríble
