Oh Brother Where Art Thou is essentially Homer's Odyssey set in Depression era U.S.A. There's a Cyclops, some sirens, a hero that's believed by some to be dead on a quest to get back home to his girl Penny (Penelope whatever), a seer... You should check it out.
If you want to hear the bass singer singing deep, try Misty Mountains by Peter Hollens featuring Tim Foust (Home Free), it will knock your socks off. Also a capella. Please react to it! I’d love to see..
There is another Bass/Baritone singer, Geoff Castellucci also from another Acapella group, Voiceplay does his cover of Misty Mountain Cold. All groups in Acapella: Home Free, Pentatonix, and Voiceplay are excellent! This song is from Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: Unexpected Journey.
Also... Do You Hear What I Hear?... There is SO MUCH going on in their (actually, Adam Rupp's) arrangement. That one is my favorite of all of their covers... And listen to their version of Cam's Mayday. Edit: Oh! And don't forget "The Butts Remix".
@@GopherBaroque61 she is not ready for Mayday, she will have to listen to more songs, and get to know the guys and their musical position within the group. If she listens to Mayday too soon she won't get the surprise within the song. Do you agree?

Home Free does Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire" with Pentatonix's Bass singer, Avi Kaplan. Tim Foust drops one of his lowest notes ever, at the end, but also shows his highs during the song, Tim Foust - Vocal Range (G0 - A5). There's also camera phone footage floating around out there from concerts where his voice vibrates the phone.
You are so pretty and I'm talking about on the inside which just makes everything about the outside beautiful. It's what's on the inside that makes someone really look beautiful. So much fun to watch you react.
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole. I have always been impressed by accapella singers, but never a fan. Then this group shows up in my feed ... I've tried to dig myself up from the Home Fries hole, but then there is something else that pops up... sigh... I am stuck...
Ms RR, you choose so many winners to present. Yes she may win when she presents. Sorry, couldn't resist. You are a hot mess, in the most beautiful sort of way/experience. Thanks for your efforts that bring serious joy.
Just an FYI, Dylan wasn’t the original. It was first recorded in 1927 (published in 1913) there are a bunch of people that recorded it. It has an interesting history if you’re into that kind of thing. Definitely worth the research if you are a music nerd like me.
Caution, Caution, Austin seriously flirts with the camera and you are in serious jeopardy of being captured and drawn in to the Home Free rabbit hole. Just relax and enjoy of sensation of sounds.
This is a great song,it was made popular by a Bluegrass group,The Stanley Brothers in the 1950's,I remember listening to it on the radio,WSM,live from The Grand Ole Opry.
Home Free's best video. And Tim Foust? Yeah, he sits a floor below the basement with his bass voice! And note, after Tim's solo he drops a full octave lower when he harmonizes with the rest of the group. :-)
A long time ago I was skipping threw channels and ran over the CMC. Knew nothing of the movie and never heard any of the songs. Stopped for a second and thought to myself, Country has gotten as strange as MTV. Some time later I put 2 and 2 together and watched the movie Oh Brother Where Art Thou and fell in love with the music and film

I am so very glad that you've discovered Home Free. I am also certain that you will be come an avid 'Home Fry!' Though they are considered a country styled group, they are so talented that they can perform many genres with equal aplomb. Yours to discover... Enjoy!
Yes, Home Free can do anything from country to pop to religious hymn (I suggest "How Great Thou Art") and everything in between. I keep waiting for them to do something classical--like Mozart. I think they'd kill it. And introduce a whole new generation of folks to classical music.
i'd love to see what you have to say about Disturbed "The Sound Of Silence" 03/28/16 | CONAN on TBS, i've listened to the original by Simon and Garfunkle for years but, in some strange way... this moved me.
RR, the lead singer is Mr. Austin Brown, a learned opera singer and high tenor. The gent in the overall is Rob Lunquist is the bariton. The deep voice is Mr. Tim Foust with one of the deepest voice in music industries (people i said ONE OFF) . He has a huge Range from low tenor to deep bass. The gent with the "grass harp" and beard is Mr. Adam Chance who is bariton to bass. Finally there is Mr. Adam Rupp, co founder of Home Free and beatboxer par excellence. All this Gentlemen are kind and caring souls and you often will find songs about what is wrong in this world, but they are also a funny bunch. Please stay save and healthy, German greetings
The long haired guy is the main bass , But the guy with the hat by the post sang bass in a previous group but here sings mostly baritone. The talent is absurd in this group !!
Thank you for showing love through music for the people who have been labeled “devils” and blamed for all sorrow and pain. You’re a beautiful soul in a world of negativity.
No harmonica,, and the drum beat is him as well. Adam Rupp;s (beatboxer) drum solo video wil be a great reaction. Try reacting to Boys To Men cover "End of The Road".
No instruments. All done with voices. Even the harmonica sound. And if you liked this, you HAVE to do their Butts Remix and End of the Road. Honestly, anything Home Free does is gold. If you're looking for more amazing acapella, check out Pentatonix - Sound of Silence, Daft Punk Medley, Bohemian Rhapsody...and pretty much everything else that comes out of their mouths. Citizen Queen is an all-girl version of Pentatonix, on tour with them last I heard, and their Evolution Of Girl Groups is a lot of fun.
Fans are Home Fries,, and we are rabid and many!! Some of Home Free's best songs/videos (at least, my favorites): In the Blood, Folsom Prison Blues, My Church, Butts Remix, Helplessly Hoping, Dive Bar Saints, Catch Me if You Can, Sea Shanty Medley, Never Gonna Give You Up, Hillbilly Bone, Blue Ain't Your Color, Mayday (but DON'T do Mayday until you know their voices). I can also strongly recommend a group called Voice Play: favorites are Warriors, Eleanor Rigby, Carry On, Wayward Son, Butter, We're Good, You're My Best Friend. They also do the Oogie Boogie Song from Nightmare Before Christmas. And it's crazy good! Their bass, Geoff Castellucci, is a one in a million talent.
I love coming to your channel. Your smile will put a smile on my face every time. Please give a listen to Home Free - How Great Thou Art. The setting for this video is breathtaking and their vocals are angelic.
This is the first song I heard Home Free do, a bit over a year ago, and I've been a Home Fry since. They just keep getting better with each new song. Fun reaction! ✌️😎
Same here. I'd never heard Home Free before and this came up on my "recommended" You Tube list so thought "What the heck". I've been a Home Fry since. I've listened (more than once) to just about everything they've got on You Tube.
I just love to hear talented musicians no matter the type or era of music you just can't argue with real talent. It is still difficult to know there are no instruments at all. Just combinations of the members doing the instruments as well as Adam who is the beat box. Just amazing.
I love your reactions...your face is so cute and expressive! These guys are my favorite...them and Angelina Jordan. It seems like next to them other (very talented) artists pale. Just Sayin'😊
Wow! Don’t know what I liked more. Listening to these country boys or watching you jam to it. Love your channel and you’re such a breath of fresh air. God bless
This is one of my favorite songs that Home Free has done. Between the main singer in this one (Austin), the bass (Tim), and Rob (with the beard), it makes it hard to pick a favorite singer. My other favorite of theirs is Elvira, featuring the Oak Ridge Boys (the song's original singers).
A cappella has been brought into the 21st century with the addition of beatboxers, imo. Arguably, the 3 top atm are Home Free, Voiceplay, and Pentatonix in no particular order. Austin absolutely kills “When a Man Loves a Woman” and Rob shines in "End of the Road."

Tim Foust is the bass of the group. His vocal range is 5 octaves, which is incredible. He sounds just as good singing as a tenor.
Geoff Castellucci of Voiceplay has same vocal range as Tim Foust. I believed that all of them can be featured in other groups.

"Ring of Fire" by Johnny Cash? Cover?
