Gordie Howe? I remember when I was maybe 10 years old, and I had a hockey game at the old Olympia Arena. As I walked in, to my amazement surprise, Gordie Howe was walking out alone…..I quickly said “Gordie Howe you are my idol. Can you autograph my jersey?” And he said, “not now kid. I’m in a hurry”.
