- This marks a fresh start to an action packed season on the national walleye tour. Follow us along as we share what the life of a professional walleye fisherman is all about. From the lowest of lows to the highest of highs. Last year we followed along 4 anglers John Hoyer, Owen Wilcox, Duane Hjelm, and Max Wilson. But this year we are adding some new faces Bill Shimota and Dustin Minke.
The first stop on the National Walleye Tour brings us to the vast waters of Lake Erie. Anglers face grueling conditions as the prepare to start there season.

Best fishing show. Period. One of the best things about the Walleye fishing industry is it's not the Bass segment. Still small enough to have our anglers maintain approachability. This show highlights the best of what this sport is about from a point of view not accessible to most of us regular guys who just love to fish. Thank you.

Rule violations in previous tournaments. Yet it's covered up and let slide. I know personally if I found out I was in violation. I would turn back in my winnings. As I didn't do it honestly and fairly. Integrity matters.
