- The M12 Motorway, initially known as Western Sydney Airport Motorway, is an under-construction east-west motorway in Sydney, Australia, linking between the M7 Motorway and The Northern Road, as part of the Western Sydney Infrastructure Plan. The four-lane motorway is planned to be 16 km long and to be built at a cost of $1.75 billion (with both State and Federal funding). It is aimed at providing direct access from the M7 Westlink Motorway to the new Western Sydney Airport situated at Badgerys Creek.
The motorway began construction in August 2022 and is expected to open prior to the Western Sydney Airport opening in 2026.
The M12 Motorway will run between M7 Motorway and The Northern Road, including an exit to the access road towards the Western Sydney Airport. The motorway will have 4 lanes, with provision to be widened to 6 lanes. It will also be toll-free. Кино
Great video, but, the A.I voice is really annoying :)
Progress looking good btw hopefully it'll be done in time of the airport opening.
Really doesn't bother me like I said to some bloke a week ago can't please everyone 😁
@@colindobson4045 true...your piloting skills have evolved too btw. they should've started building the motorway 6 lanes straight of the bat.
Hi Colin good update but sorry have to agree, the robotic voiceover isn’t the best.
@@colindobson4045,the A1 voice didn’t bother me either.
Super, nice fly
Thanks 👍
Would be nicer with quieter background music, thanks
👍
Thank you for your updates. Great flying and photography, could do without the artificial intelligence voiceover though.
Finished a video today no voice over mate 👍
So build it 4 lanes and then piss everyone off for years widening it to 6 lanes and more money on top of more money. Why not just build it 6 lanes to begin with.
No when they build 6 lanes it will be a toll road so all they have to do is raise the toll to pay for it 😁
Will be toll free?
I doubt that very much
M4 was paid for toll removed then reinstated
M5 east was built with tax payers money then a toll added to what was a free road all t
Because transurban insisted a toll be introduced on m5 east
And now a toll will apply in both directions on the habout tunnel and habout bridge
If you see my comments from months ago I did say say they would eventually make it a toll road
You could have chosen an Australian narrator.
Unfortunately the video editing software doesn't have an Australian voice I'm not doing voice overs for now just uploaded a new video today no voice over 😁
Just use your own voice Col
Everyone's obsessed with voice overs 🙄😒
@bubbadeville4892 yes good idea 👍
“Provision for 6 lanes” WHY don’t they just build 6 lanes NOW?! The idiocy of politics and budgets escapes me 😡
Because they don't want to pay for it when the government sells it whoever buys it they will build extra lanes and put tolls up that's my guess
2 lanes 🤦🏼♂️ bloody pathetic as always Australia builds roads for today & don’t worry about tomorrow…
This is done with tax payers money for to days users ,tomorrows users can fund the extras unless you want to make this yet another toll road and don`t be surprised if the government does a back flip and makes it a toll road for any excuse they can invent.
If it's any Consolation it will be 6 lanes at some stage in the future however it surprises me why they don't build 6 or 8 lanes from the start totally agree with your comment 👍
The American voice is a bit unnecessary and tedious.
as i keep saying if you don't like don't watch it
