Looks great, nice install video 👍 You can never have too many lights.
Agree 100% never too much lights
I love the look too, goes really well with the large headlight nacelle. Top job.
Thank you sir.
I love the look with the spot lamps, and had talked myself out of it so many times. Great video Art. I loved em on the heritage.
Yes this is real deal HD icon look and really useful addition for sure
This is a very nice upgrade on the RKS. Nice you were able to find the OEM parts and get the black powder coating. Looks great and more lighting to light the way especially at night. Ride safe and enjoy!
Thank you Rick and yes OEM fit is prime and cost difference was negligible comparing to cheap junk. I am glad I did a bit more research ahead of the time. Thanks for your support and comment.

I agree - very nice look on your bike! Also liked the install video - well done. Hope you can continue with this type of content and maybe some of your trip videos. Much better than that "commercial" advertising style you tried out last week.
Thank you Carl really appreciate your input on this and previous video. Yes I tried something new and I got mixed feelings about it too.
Love the looks,
Thank you I dig it too and additional safety for sure.
Gret post, as ever, my friend!
Thank you so much. This upgrade is awesome
Excellent video. Great job, as usual.
Thank you Bob. Appreciate your comment
Hello, Excellent video. Great job.
Harley store dosen't sell anymore those parts.
I have an road king specia and I would like to install the auxilary lights, Do you know where can i can get those parts?
Thank you.
I have hard time to believe HD doesn't have parts for 2022 RK they should have it. Most of the time they run out of parts after 12-15 years
Love the video. Looks like it will help me a lot. I also plan to mount the turn signals under the passing lamps for the old school look. I'm curious if you plan to do that, and if not, how come?
Glad video is helpful. I simply prefer look of turn signals on handlebar and it is easier as you don't have to relocate it but it is mainly personal preference
@RidersUnited I agree, much easier to leave on the bars as I really may end up leaving them as the wiring process really makes me nervous. Again, appreciate your videos. You're a great help!
@@RB-tx4mn yes this was part of the reason as well 😉
Nice episode.
Is there the same bracket for Softail Slim 2021 (or 2018+)?
Should be I made same modifications on 2014 Slim and all was from HD catalog
By any chance do you have the FLHRXS 2024 lighting kit?
Nice set up! I own a 2023 RKS and my question is does your setup work for my bike? Thank you
Yes I have 2023 RKS 2022 myself
@RidersUnited thanks my brother, you have been a great help
Thank you. I have a 22 RKS and have been looking for a simple solution to the wiring. Just to be clear all you need is the yellow wire to purple on the first connector and 1 wire for ground on second connector? I can cut and cap the rest of the wires from the first connector?
Purple (power) turns into yellow at the connector and black is a ground that you can connect to any ground I just connect it to the other plug and yes you can connect 2 power cables together and 2 ground cables together. Hope this helps.
nice upgrade and video, looks great !! what about if you want to use your windshield ?
I actually have windshield on with this set up.
@@RidersUnited Oh, ok. I was not sure what options are available 😎👍
Cheers for the video! I just replaced my RK classic (2010) for a RK special (2017) so i miss those passing lights! So looking on marketplace in the Netherlands for the passing light bracket.. found few but they are for RK 94-98 and 1 from EG Ultra Classic 2007, wich one will fit my RK special? 😊
To be honest I am not 100% sure but you can check windshield fitment on HD website as this should be good indicator if 94-98 RK shield would fit your new King. I believe they didnt change design of front end for really long time but 94-98 is while back. I believe EG UC has different set up but not sure. Hope this help.
Could you leave a link to the molex connector? Thanks! Great video
You should be able to find links in description. Hope this helps
I have the same exact 2022 road king special… I love the way your bike looks but the link you provided on Harley Davidson site says it does not fit in my bike in year?? Can you please provide the proper link cause I love the way it looks on your bike
You are correct as I put the pieces together from various models. Bracket is Road King bracket. Auxiliary lamps and trim rings are from HD Softail Slim model so technically these are not for RKS as HD doesnt offer this kit for RKS (so link is correct) If you are looking for putting this whole set up together let me know as I have spare auxiliary lamps buckets for sale brand new OEM.
Thx for getting back to me so quickly! I’m definitely interested in having the same look as what you had in a video!! Please let me know what you have New so I can duplicate the exact look for my 2022 Road King special
@@peppeV21 please reach to me via ridersunitedmotorcyclegroup@gmail.com and I can sell you the aux lights buckets
Awesome video! So can I use the o.e.m kit from the slim that you showed instead of buying everything separate?
No, Slim kit have brackets that wont work on RK. You can buy lamps and mounting hardware from Slim but bracket has to be specific for Road King. Unfortunately buying separate parts is only way to go if you want OEM parts. Luckily old RK brackets are cheap and easy to get.
@RidersUnited what about this kit- part number 68669-05A do you think this will work
Is the slim kit in the link the same bar you used for the RK Special?
No, only lights/lamps are from Slim (I have set for sale if you are interested) while mounting bar is original Road King bracket that was powder coated as it is different from Softail Slim. It is mix and match deal.
What guage are the wires used?
Any car wire would be appropriate I believe 16 gauge
Where to find the right part number for the bracket for a 2018 rks. I havent been able to locate.
You can ask dealer to look up this bracket Part Number to Road King Classic from 2020 as it will fit. I believe same bracket fit 2008 and up RK models.
De link ware we bay this thx 👍🏼
Check description
But the downside of this is you loose a windscreen correct
I still can have my shield with this set up
