    The only thing I'd add is you should add a little electrical grease to the connectors before you plug them in to prevent corrosion that will cause light failure

      Thank you! Go find lights you like the look of and do it!!! The difference is so worth it.
      More and more are becoming plug and play. Just might have to buy a separate adapter. Otherwise, they just take a little time.

    Awesome install. Since I did my first LED install, I have never, and never will, run with anything but LEDs. They a way brighter and therefore, safer. Ride safe!!!!

      @@MotoByChance We have scheduled a trip back on the 9th. I will be so happy. We have been real busy getting the projects done and waiting on deliveries. Final living room stuff comes Fri and new patio and grill comes in a couple of weeks. Whew! Thanks for asking.

      Thank you so much! I spent a while trying to reuse the inner ring only to realize that the LEDs are much thicker than the stock and the ring is not needed to hold the light in place. Was learning as I went along.

    You likely know by now that you can do the same with your signal lights, where you have a halo ring and when you hit the turn signal you have a yellow in the Center. Getting those installed on my Freewheeler. Thnx for the video?

    I have a '15 Road King. I've bought several different lights, none were plug and play. Found some on ebay that KIND of fit, but they still feel loose in the housing, like I need to foam them up or something. Had to splice in their adapter, and they came with NO instructions.

      Joel, you had to rough time. I am so glad that they made some changes in the last few years so the lights on my 20 are plug and play. I would have been so frustrated if not.
      Foaming is not a bad idea. Did you try it? How did it work?

      I could not agree more with the added visibility. Doing these two projects has given me the courage to take on the more challenging upgrades. I did the tail lights assembly (have that qued to edit) and hope to tie into the front turn signals later today. 🤞🏻

      @@MotoByChance Lights that just plug in are usually easy but I have encountered some that just would not fit in the housings. I know every body likes LEDs but I'm sticking with incandescents. I like the look of them better than LEDs myself and I don't like it when LEDs or any really bright headlight is coming toward me.

    Are your passing lights 4.5"? I measured the passing lights on my 2021 Road King and they were 4". Harley's website also sells 4" passing lights.

      Yes, they are 4.5”. Wonder if they changed the size from the 2020 to the 2021. Wouldn’t surprise me if they did. 🤨

    Looks great! You did it! Celeste’s headlight is pathetic. I think choices are few due to power allowances. I’ll look around on the owner forum. You’ve given me courage.

      Start on the forum, then check YT for anyone with the same make as wiring can be similar between models, then take your time and think your way through.
      And the difference in being seen by others even during the day is big. I hope to do my last lights, the front turn signals, later today. 🤞🏻

      I installed the same lights on my Electra glide. The locator ring has a front and the back it cannot be put in reversed. I don’t know if that was your problem but it worked fine with my lights when installed properly. Not saying you’re wrong just a word of experience

    Yeah, those rings are no longer fitting. I left them out, too, and my install was 5 years ago or 30k miles ago. Working just fine.
    The turn signals are as easy as the passing lamps were. Hardest part is to decide what colors and features you prefer 😂 the install itself is a breeze.
