I use Celtic salt for electrolytes..
      instead of Gatorade now
I didn't know, I was low on potassium
I put a little on my tongue, then drink water
Even the potassium, seems to cancel effects of sodium.
My blood pressure went from 135/87 to 126/79
      Sometimes
      120/80
      I'm 65 ☺️

And this is what hospitals are giving patients. My nephew is recovering from heart surgery (aorta) at a TOP hospital. I walked in the hospital room and there is a Gatorade, Canada Dry Ginger ale, AND an Ensure drink. (Don’t get me started on the food). I talked to the surgeon and the nutritionist and asked them in what world is this heart healthy? Their response was, “we need to get something in his stomach”. Thank you for your videos! I think it is so important that someone takes the effort to actually explain the processes behind all of these products rather than just telling you what’s good no what’s bad for you. This way even non experts can understand how nutrition and diets actually work and will be more aware of their body and well being. Most important education on this topic in my opinion!

I've dropped from an average of 200lbs, and am now maintaining around 160. Daily exercise, healthy eating, drinking spring water. No coffee or milk. I do consume a few zero sugar energy drinks a week still, they make me dizzy alongside a lack of focus, which is the opposite of what they say they do. 🤯 So I need to quit those as well.

This is a wonderful video. I was disappointed to see David Pakman attack your common-sense advice and I commented to him that I agree with you about how the typical American diet is a disaster. I also mentioned I believe our for-profit healthcare system is immoral. I mentioned doctors are constricted by insurance companies and besides their getting almost no training in nutrition, they are generally taught to treat symptoms instead of causes of problems. I had a chronic health issue in my 20's and after I was seen by literally 10 specialists and had every test out there, their answer was to put my on antibiotics for a year and go from there. Even I knew that was not good. I happened on an elderly country doctor who cut my meds in half and put me on a strict diet, and I GOT WELL. I am almost 70 now and still manage that issue with diet. I reminded David about the old, "You are what you eat" saying. I eat zero refined sugar and no caffeine. I don't eat grains. I get moderate sun and exercise. I can run, jump, and get around just fine as I watch many of my same-age friends, who almost all take prescription drugs by the handfuls every day, and who eat things that are clearly making them sick, can barely walk, which is difficult to see. Keep up the good fight against unhealthy advice. Thanks for helping me. I truly appreciate what you do.

Was tested for adrenal fatigue it wasn't there. Tests of various things showed nothing wrong. The actual problem was neighbors cut my grounding wires out of the breaker box. It's taken a toll on me. There's radiation I'm dealing with which has screwed my heart, lungs & stomach with. Getting off the NOS is hopefully helping. I'm drinking lots of water

I recently got to know Power Ade. It also tastes great. It's more expensive than Coke, so I rarely buy it.
I work 3 shifts, sometimes I have to stay awake. Even if I didn't sleep much.
What do you suggest to replace energy drinks?
And what could be substituted for these drinks in the first place? I only drink water at work. I don't like it. It can even make me nauseous.

Coffee is standing at the splitting line between beneficial and harmful. I only drink coffee for the time window of after wake up ~ 11am, then let my body goes through the decaf process. 12 hours later, my body will be ready to sleep as the caffeine has been fully decaffeinated from body system. Also, caffeine interrupt your body ability to absorb iron. Its best to stay one hour no coffee before your next meal. Sometimes I stay two hours no coffee before next meal just to be safe. I also perform IF + quit refined sugar. (three months progression, I totally feel I'm a new self that has infinite energy and positive life motivation)
